Re: TF Flash Game

new animations look good. if you wanted to use the old idle animations to you can probably either add a global variable toggle to one or the other. or Math.random to play either idle randomly.

I also had another idea that would fit in the jungle stage. giant flytrap plants. set to a trigger and timer such that if you stand on them to long they snap shut and turn you into... uh... a bug? maybe a moth or something? moth or butterfly would probably look better anyway. and you want to force the player use them as platforms, so the ground could have an extra plant transformation attached to it. or if you don't want to do a plant, it could have a mist with a different effect attached.

also had a goofy idea for one part of the strange new world set. since it's Pokemon. actually grab Pokemon sprites and art, take some, and setup a Pokemon battle, on the actual screen setup ect. put in some platforms or something. and make the player dodge the combat animations as two Pokemon, or trainers, or whatever the heck it is, fight around her. not sure just how many attacks involve projectiles come to think of it. may have to add to the normal effects so the player can't just hide in a corner.

Re: TF Flash Game

Re: TF Flash Game

In case I didn't mention it in the OP (I'm pretty sure I did), I'm incredibly flaky. I do these things to kill time when nothing else will suffice.

Sorry to say I just bought a 360 to cancel out the lack of games coming out this year for Wii.

Progress isn't dead but it's really hard to get the creative juices flowing sometimes. I had to not only be in the right mood but also the right frame of mind for working creatively in order to get anything done. I can (maybe?) upload the FLA and/or the PSD/sprite sheet to make it "open-source" if anyone cares.

I'm not dead. I just have other things to do, not the least of which are work and school.

I still have very, very few ideas. Nothing I can push into a full-blown stage.

I could remove stages 4-8 and just put up a 10 if I can ever come up with a stage concept for it if it'll make you feel like it's actually "done".

It's really not that I don't want to finish it. I hate leaving things unfinished. It's just that it's incredibly tedious, especially when you're brainstorming the entire time you're working on it, so old ideas that took an hour or two (or six in one case =/) get completely scrapped.

And for people who haven't seen the sprite sheet for what I've done so far, that's posted on page 6.

Re: TF Flash Game

It's okay Monomonkey...I know what it's like to be flaky...

I don't know if anyone could do the game as great as you have though...And even if they did, it wouldn't be the same...I don't know, I just really liked your work.

Re: TF Flash Game

I played the number 6 version, this game is awesome! Reminiscent of Anything Goes, but with much better graphics. Great!

Re: TF Flash Game

Thanks for that.

Yeah, I said the 360 would take my time, but it's really Tales of Vesperia that's doing it. What an amazing game.

Oh, and school. Yeah, that thing that I used to care about.

Anyway, here's the sprite sheet.

Re: TF Flash Game

Those sprites are looking really good!
I can't wait to see the animations with them, each and every one of them XD
Especially if the Anthro TFs transition to the 4 legged variants in later versions!

Re: TF Flash Game

i love this game. itd be nice if she had different emotional reactions to the changes..i wish that the animations were more like a cut scene, but hell that would be too much work

all in all fun
