Clips4Sale takes 35% on its cut. Also, being #1 for a day and its meaning depends on the total daily sales volume. It could have been a slow sales day. I would not look at "WE'RE #1!" as any solid indication of the revenue on a clip for Clips4Sale.

I would trust her that the numbers aren't there to support repeated work. But that wouldn't stop you from financing a clip of your own.

^ So many costs you wouldn't think of until you have to pay them, and on top of that serving a niche market inside a niche market does not help. I suffer from that all the time when it comes to table-top gaming projects....

And before anyone says anything, I would ask for a commission, but can't afford her new prices. But I don't blame her, this line of work can get costly. Especially when it keeps getting posted on sites like Pornhub and others for free and every site you try to post always wants a share :/

Um...okay? I always like feedback on my work, but what are you referring to here? I've only combined SW and BE in a couple of my works, and I have a lot of stuff that's just SW. Also, I'm not sure why this is in the thread about Missa...

Getting back on topic, it breaks my heart that the golden age of shrinking videos seems to have passed. Shrinking Dreams hasn't released a new one in months, Red Parrot started out with such promise but dropped off quickly, and Now Missa is gone. Makes my failed attempt at starting a studio (that played a big role in my "retirement" from art) all the more sad as it seems no one is interested in doing quality shrinking process videos anymore��

Well, if you think about it, there were only ever really four players in the game: Missa, Gary, Parrot, and 11fifty. The first two were motivated mostly by profit, and there's just not as much profit in SW relative to cost as there is in other genres that are cheaper to produce. 11fifty never got up to the quality standards of the other three and in any case has sold the studio and quit.

That leaves Parrot, who genuinely cares about the quality and is in it because he likes the material, but doesn't have enough free time to produce them with any regularity.

Still...at least he hasn't entirely left the field.

Favorite and best is all personal opinion. Thank god, or else I would go insane wondering why someone liked video a better than vid b and c! I am grateful, Danio, that you like my work.

I can tell you that I try to do something different in each one of my shrinking videos. I try to always add to my bag of tricks, improve, grow, or change it up. My business is built on repeat buyers and I give it my all not to disappoint.
