Told you guys it was done in a gag-like fashion with funny sound effects At least the wait is finally over. We didn't have much luck with the camrip being released beforehand, but we are at least lucky enough to have the BDrip released almost immediately as the Blu-ray disc was released.

Though, I must say that the BD version of the AP sequence seems a bit different from what I remember seeing in the theater version.. I vividly remember the upper body scene having the BE process divided into more spurts and therefore being slightly longer in the theater version. At first, I doubted my memory a bit, but I can confirm it is different from seeing what happens right afterward. In the theater version, they showed her suddenly waking up right after the growth. But in the Blu-ray version, they show her being already awake right after the growth. If this is right, it means that the AP sequence, along with several other parts of the movie in general, could've been editted a bit for the Blu-ray version. If that's the case, it certainly is a shame.

Anyway, her age transformation isn't over just yet. In the upcoming third part of the movie called "Kizumonogatari Reiketsu-hen", she will transform from her mature teen form into her true adult form. Since it's likely one of the climaxes of the movie's story, I imagine that we can hopefully expect a fancy AP sequence with decent details and process. Though, seeing that she has gotten already pretty buxom in her mature teen form, the changes might not be that significant. Maybe a one stage increase in her cup size or so.

Part 3 just finished it's run in the states and I found out it'll be out on DVD on July 12th https://twitter.com/AnimeVoice/statu...21662539440128 . No real news on any AP sequence though.

Reporting from Japan here. Out of all people, I most unfortunately and inevitably missed out on the theater release, and it is indeed true that there hasn't been any mention an AP sequence being present within part 3 whereas there were for part 2 in many of the reviews.

However, there is no doubt that part 3 features the AP event of her reaching her fully mature form. And from what we can see from the movie/Blu-ray trailers and officially released screenshots, we can confirm several things:

1) The AP event happens during the movie. This is certain because the trailers/images show her in the mature teen form from part 2. So it's not like the movie begins with a big time gap from part 2 with her already having grown into her fully mature form or anything.




2) There is a scene visible from the trailers and the officially released images with her rejoicing in feather effects that gives off a somewhat similar vibe to her AP sequence in part 2. This scene might possibly be a part of her AP sequence.

3) There is also another AP sequence of her becoming old from having her blood sucked by the protagonist near the end.

From this, we can conclude that the movie has not only one AP sequence but in fact two in store. One being mature teen -> adult, and the other being adult -> old. On top of that however, if we are lucky, they might also even have an AR sequence of her turning from her old self into the child form she has in the anime series. The Kizumonogatari film trilogy is supposed to be a prequel of the monogatari anime series after all.



And for the process, while her mature teen -> adult one is a bit on the uncertain side, I imagine that they will show process for her adult -> old one for sure since it is most likely the climax of the movie.
