Re: Missed Opportunities for SW in TV / Movies
Attack of the Puppet People had some good practical effects for the time. But sadly limited in what could be done. The women look nice to say the least. Today they would use to much CGI and not enough practical effects. You could argue the same for Land of the Giants.
Sienna Guillory as Jill Valentine wouldn't mind shrinking her. https://alpha.wallhaven.cc/wallpaper/139781 https://www.pinterest.com/pin/142778250657657111/ |

Going back further, Devil Doll had good effects for the time, but I didnt like how the shrinking foam turned the shrinkee into an unaware zombie. Id rather have seen her commit the thievery in the movie as a bargain to get her size back. Id love to see a remake with Morena Baccarin as a wife of a wealthy scientist who develops the shrinking foam. Baccarin discovers her hubby is having an affair with a young blonde bimbo (Charlotte McKinney). Seeing a younger bustier threat to her gravy train, she uses the foam on McKinney. McKinney begs Baccarin to make her big again. Instead, McKinney is used to steal valuables for Baccarin to flee the country with and live in luxury in Aruba. But, before she can slip away, Baccarin is found out, and gets doused with the foam. As the foam soaks into her skin, she lets out an epic "NOOOOOOO!!!!" as she shrinks into her clothes. She emerges, with the foam strategically covering her naughty bits, a mere four inches tall. Last edited by SDK; 06-06-2017 at 05:38 PM. |
