Look, the implications of what you say are far from obscure. If someone is behaving in a douchey manner, in your eyes, they should not post and thus should lose their voice. That's not even a leap in logic, that's more like taking the footbridge rather than swimming across the creek. As you said, though, this is probably the type of discussion that's better suited to sober eyes.

I'm still not quite sure why you're so upset with me taking time off, but that's hardly my problem, and I'm done apologizing for it. You're worth a helluva lot in this world, but the one thing you are NOT worth is any more self-immolation for a relation that's going nowhere fast.

I'm not going to point-by-point you, because I actually still respect you. Suffice it to say, it is nigh on impossible to derail a thread that was a flame - and thus miscategorized - in the first place. Unless, of course, your shit doesn't stink to the degree that everything you post is incontrovertible law?

Also, chat logs, not warranted - but it's hardly fair to tell me to take time for myself, then go off on me multiple times for not being sufficiently psychic to be online and active every time you need me. If I am distant, it is simply because I AM OVER TWO THOUSAND MILES AWAY, not because I wish you any hurt or discomfort. The sooner you stop breaking my balls over that one simple fact, the happier we'll both be.

I still don't know what you're talking about. I don't believe I've ever done what you're accusing me of and I'm just confused. In fact, I distinctly recall telling you NOT to cover 2000 miles because I wanted to spend time with my lady friends in Seattle (and I did. And we danced.)

I don't doubt you sincerely believe what you're talking about is the case, for which I'm sorry, but, from my perspective, this is entirely misunderstanding and scenarios you've created in your head based on that misunderstanding.

You got poopy one day and decided not to talk to me anymore. I have entirely respected it. That's my perspective in it's entirety.

I'm sorry you consider discussion of reproductive rights and biology a flame too. I disagree. I consider them vital discussion points, as someone who has required such interventions for their survival and livelihood. I've got my second big procedure of the year coming up in April.

The really sad part is that we're all wrong for each other, and it took me this long to realize it. I wish we could work, but "swing" (sub / dom) relationships rarely work out over long distances and multiple stressors. Too hard to communicate.

Also, re: discussion of reproductive rights? Don't do that to me, you know better than that. I'm calling a spade a spade, and you drew and quartered an entire demographic because they didn't agree with your perspective 100%. That's not intelligent discussion, that is the very definition of a flame. Honestly, you're not the only one to ever do that, and it elicits a chuckle from me every time I read it.

Not sure why I should be surprised by you *actually* respecting me either. I'm a pretty respectable gal. I'm imperfect as they come but I'm clever as all get out and great at what I do in an industry that's hostile to anyone of my gender. I'm a responsible adult and supportive friend and adoring sister and reliable student and employee. I'm worthy of respect, even if I am a little bit fat and do drink too much.
