I don't know if you're talking about you or I or someone else with regards to depression and meds. I'm drugged to the gills because I'm scared about how going off meds would affect my professional and academic performance. It might be no big deal but I can't afford to take the chance.

Also, re: discussion of reproductive rights? Don't do that to me, you know better than that. I'm calling a spade a spade, and you drew and quartered an entire demographic because they didn't agree with your perspective 100%. That's not intelligent discussion, that is the very definition of a flame.

I genuinely don't know what you're talking about. I laughed at people who don't understand rudimentary biology and told people in general that derailing sincere discussion with gun wanks or roleplaying was douchey. I don't know what demographic I excluded. I don't care if you're an RPer or gun owner. I appreciate your participation. I don't appreciate derailing with pet topics. I welcome all thoughts on the topic at hand and admonished all those derailing said topic.

The topic was created to ridicule an entire subset of society. Given, a particularly stupid subset of society, but let's not pretend that its intent is to be educational. At that point, admonitions become rather moot, n'cest pas?

It's a fair analogy to the jackassery on the Conservative side that throws out images of Soviet Russia or Nazi concentration camps every time the Liberal side even mentions the term "re-education." It's the counterpoint that, if we're not allowed to re-educate the ignorant, they are better off with no rights at all. It's a bullshit cop-out, and if my imagery offends, then THANK CHRIST I HOPE SO. It means you have a logical bone left in your body, which is more than I can say of many detractors of *any* government cutbacks.

Flaming is an intentional behaviour. I like to believe no one here is as flaming fucking stupid as people who think uteruses of women who have used birth control are dead baby graveyards. Laughing at people one doesn't believe to be present doesn't constitute flaming as there is no one present to inflame. I'm not going to acknowledge flaming anyone as I don't believe anyone present would become inflamed by such remarks.

If I believed anyone present actually agreed with the sentiment presented in the OP and was trying to get them riled up, hell yeah, it would constitute flaming. But I don't. I genuinely don't believe anyone with posting ability on this forum is that stupid. I believe it's something most everyone here can lolol about and, from there, start a dialogue on the matter.

If you want to continue being horrible to me, you're welcome to do so, but it would behoove you to recognise I don't deserve it and it's a reflection of you, not me. If you're so disinterest in interacting with me, do me a favour and extend that policy to this forum. If you respect me as you claim, the best way to do so would be to refrain from being horrible to me.
