What any hex-editor does is mess with computer memory... so you should probably find a tutorial on the net first...

"Deathrabbit's gamehacking tutorial" should be easy enough to learn.

PS: You should first learn how to "edit" your posts before you even try to use something like this... O.o;; cause you can mess up your computer if you're not careful... even though thats hard to do if you're following the guide correctly...

---also don't think of using this for regular Online games, because most servers can detect and ban you if they sense this in use.
If they're ROM-hacking and you need an emulator, gameshark codes is usually one of the first features implimented into the emulator. Very common. And unless they've substantially edited the underlying engine of the game rather than just doing sprite edits, the old codes ought to work.

I apologize, I haven't bothered to download it, and if I'm off the mark, I'm off the mark.

Only in the second one, and in Outlay Volleyball too, I think.

It was an amusing code. "B, Up Up B Y"

Hey coramorgana, You haven't BE'd the "male" Bike sprites yet. In fact, when facing down in a neutral position, all I see is a black box about 32 px. in size. And if the trainer sprites are that big, can't you use those proportions to round out the breasts of the Green-Haired chicks you have lying on top of their breasts?

wut. Seriously. wut.
1. How the hell did you capture those things with only pokeballs?
2. We all know legendaries are fun, coramorgana, but is it really needed to have them obtainable early on? I mean for god's sakes, why can't it be some other pokemon in the game code, like a Togepi or something? It doesn't make sense to have a Jirachi just running and frolicking in the forest!

#1 Gameshark only exists on CONSOLES, and it corrupts the game files.
#2 The "BE" version is on the computer so you don't need codes, you can hack it yerself with a hex editor easy... for any stats etc. I learned how to do this in about an hour or less online.
To clearify there was once a gameshark program for the PC but only was out a short time.

Also the Gameshark did not "corrupt" the game files, it just temporary change part of the game code while the game was active but did not permanently change the code.

don't worry, all the legendaries are catchable, but they are arround all the game and only in one area every one, i don't want make a cheat rom, but i want make a rom where you can capture al the pokemon, i'm very noob hack roomer and i don't know edit the code of the game, for now, my next project is a pokemon zelda, and this must be a totally changed game, but i must learn a lot for this

What? Oh nooo.. I mean I entered a code that forced the pokemon on that list to confront me on demand XD. The chicorita I found came out after about 50 or so battles. But I haven't tried the rest of the areas yet...
Also, there is a tapping sequence that you can use to capture any pokemon at any level of health with regular pokeballs (every version has a different method). although the window of useage is rather small... In a legit copy(with no hacks etc) I caught all the rares using the silver pokeballs from the regular mart (from buying 10 regular balls hah wasteful I know!).
The one I use is to tap "A" right as the ball touches the ground, and about a half second before each wiggle, so you tap 3 times. Anyway I know this works because good timing will increase the number of wiggles. *nods* How do I know this.. uh... I guess I played the game too much.

In pokemon RSE, the formula to calculate any of a pokemon's stats other than HP is given by the equation:
(((BaseStat*2+IV+EV/4)*Level/100)+5)*Personality.

I think know what's playing the game too much, and no amount of inane button mashing and Konami Koding has ever gotten me a freebie. I don't think it's even in the game code, just a placebo effect.
