The comment destroys his initial argument. One moment he's suggesting "design" is evident in organisms like bananas and human hands. The next, he's saying gawd provides man with information in order to alter his creation. How the hell does that counter evolution or suggest design? It doesn't. At all.

Even if the claim jeebus talks to people were scientifically verifiable, Ray and his banana would be completely without evidence of intelligent design. I'm not about to argue the existence of gawd with him because it's a matter of faith and is, by definition, unverifiable. The claims Kirk and the bananaman put forward that I will counter are their "scientific" arguments for intelligent design, none of which have held any water thus far as one can see in the banana incident. Gawd giving people information isn't evidence of anything though.

That interview was debunked already. Dawkins was interviewed under false pretences and his statements taken out of context. Ben Stein's film was a tribute to intellectual dishonesty that even Micheal Moore would find shameful.

That's because he has an "open mind". He doesn't dismiss things until he's confirmed they are a) unverifiable/unlikely or b) false.

The science fiction-esque ideas Dawkins entertains are entirely different from the idea of gawd for one reason: they are products of the natural world and not magic. Gawd is. Jeebus is. There is not a supernatural element to anything Dawkins indulges.

I will enjoy my time with him tomorrow. I'm going with a dear friend who has a rack almost the size of mine. I don't know how we'll fit in the room together with Richard!

What's there to recant? The star seed theory has been around a while, but it doesn't mean that there was any ultimate supernatural cloud being behind it all.
