I'm curious and concerned about this too. Is this series going to work differently than Qwaser did? My current impression was that a week later the censored next episode comes out along with the directors cut of last weeks episode.

I can't read japanese but on an other forum I read that http://oppaidaisuki.jp/story/index.html says the director's cut will air 2 weeks after.

But still to confirm that we need someone that can read japanese

Someone here already mentioned it and I've read it elsewhere as well that the uncensored version will air on the 25th.

Idiotic light bars. Censor isn't a necessity. Being a responsible parent and making sure your kids don't watch what they shouldn't is a necessity.

Anyways it doesn't matter much, we'll get the proper version soon enough.

I still think it's funny that people are both unwilling to laugh at the pure silliness of all of this and, at the same time, are angry just because there were no nipples.

WellI can read the katakana, and that definitely says director's cut. So I think we may be in luck!

The problem isn't really that it's censored, more that the censors themselves take up waaaaaaaaay more space than is necessary.

that and there covering certain things that have no business being covered, like nipple dents, my god, there freaking nipple dents, thats retarded. Sometimes, the censor bars cover 80% of the screen making it almost impossible to pay attention because your to busy staring at white nothingness. This anime was made to be a soft hentai, you can tell, by what some of the things there covering is. Why release an anime thats like this specific anime with censors? Manyu does have an interesting story line, but part of that story line evolves around the nudity. I would have rather have just had them do OVA's or only released them as uncensored to the one tv station that will show uncensored versions. Also, I remember hearing about a boycot of anime in Japan if the bill isn't raised. Just a rumor probably though.

I think you mean revolves. Also...not really. It was there in the early chapters, but it served no purpose. Later volumes have less and less nudity, and it really isn't needed in the story at all.

You just have your knickers in a bunch because the first broadcast, which had to be censored, didn't try to get away with as much as possible and ended up not giving you anything to fap to. I can understand that. But don't try to drag the story into it when that has nothing to do with your aggravation. The story was treated even better than in the first chapter, and it added more fanservice for those who want it, in addition to making the censored version so over-the-top that it's funny. There's no reason to be sour at all unless you were really that upset that the sole reason you watch the show is getting a delay.

Really. From what I read of the manga, it was women stealing the breasts of other women and ruining their lives by making them flat-chested.

I refuse to see the anime until an uncensored version is released.

It evolves over time into your typical wandering ronin story, and then into a feudal drama. It's fun.

Also, as an action/comedy, I would really advise seeing the censored version first. Hoods goes a bit overboard with fanservice and it disrupts the flow of the rest of the show. The censoring is so silly and over the top that it keeps it feeling like it hasn't changed tone. But, if you prefer looking at boobs, that's understandable too. Some people prefer that.

Re: Manyu Hikencho - Decision of making TV animation

The problem they tried to solve was having the censors be intrusive. So it is to my assumption that they introduced light streaks as a sort of dynamic way to meet censor laws without having little black bars invade the anime.

But now the new problem is that the light streaks are too distracting, they are supremely large and draw the eye from the actual action taking place that they are meant to censor, as well as take up more then their necessary space.

So you can't blame them too much, at least I don't THINK.
