Gary, it looks as though you're using adobe premiere pro 4. If so, you should find a pitch shifter tool in your effects browser under audio effects. You'll find it under mono or stereo depending on which you shoot it. Just drag and drop it onto the audio of your clip, and you can adjust the pitches of the voices without changing the speed of the audio itself.

As far as the voices/pitch thing, just don't make it sound like, extremely shrill and high-pitched. Keep it within reason, that is. I mean, I don't want to be reminded of Alvin & the Chipmunks while watching these. That's juuuuuuust a bit of a turn-off.

I tried the pitch shift and it works good but It is like a chipmunk. I can tone it down so it is more suttle. I will play around with it when I edit next Clip.

I Film in DVCHD PRO format which has 4 channels of Mono audio. We ditch channels 2,3 and only keep 0,1 since those are our Boom mikes. Channels 2,3 are the on camera mike and I hardly ever use the on camera mike.

Applying the filter is pretty straght forward but I admit I never thought about doing this much. I guess this could be called the FRED or Chipmunk effect.

Gary, take a bow my man-this is definitely your BEST by far. I'd definitely rate it around a 9.5 to 9.8 out of 10. There really are just a few *really* minor technical issues I think are worth raising.

1. After the first girl shrinks, the bra next to her looks like it has changed back to a smaller size.

2. After both girls shrink, their clothes are in a different orientation to the previous scene.

3. There is still a small issue where you show the girl's underwear shrinking with her-though this is far less glaring than it was before.

As far as 3 goes, have you considered doing what you did in Call Girl collector in the final stage of the shrink. So start with the gradual shrink-with the clothes getting larger. Then, towards the end, have the girl suddenly drop down below camera-cutting back to her at her new, much smaller, size. That could eliminate the problem I mentioned all together. Anyway, just a thought.
Aside from these 3 minor issues (oh, & the voice thing-definitely agree on that), this is truly superb work Gary-you've outdone yourself this time! Look forward to your next SW outing with great joy !

The pitch shifter presets work to some degree. Do you have the ability to manually adjust the settings though? You should have two separate dials with the pitch shifter. Messing with those should give you some form of control over gradual, subtle changes.

The Danielle shoot did not go as planned. I was going to do a slow shrink with just Danielle and try some new things. Well she bought Remi with her and also we wound up having less time to actually shoot so I did not get ambitious for this one. I decided to shoot a transference clip with both girls.

The only part of the plan I did stick with was to have Danielle like the shrinking. So we reversed the roles. Danielle has the amulet and is making Remi big while she gets small.

Danielle is jealous of Remi because she is so small and cute. Remi even teases Danielle for being so big. Well Danielle decides to turn the tables and makes Remi grow into a Giantess while Danielle takes great pleasure in becoming Doll size.

I'm really enjoying your videos, especially the more recent ones and I don't want to criticize them - except if I don't express my opinion you'll never know what I want to see more/less of so here goes...

I'd love to hear the girls say shrink/shrunk/shrinking/getting smaller/etc... as much as possible

I like that the process shots were a little quicker in this one, but I think the amount of change in each shot should be less so it all cuts together with more continuity - for instance, the girl's hands shrink completely into her sleeves, but when we see it next, her hands are still exposed. Also, it looks like you use the smaller shirt and shoot it in reverse... the reverse idea works really well, but maybe you should use the larger shirt so the sleeve doesn't wrap around her fingers while she's shrinking.

I got more but they all revolve around the same theme, the continuity during the process.

The bra and panties work really well, as well as the super big jeans. I really liked the FX shot where she shrinks out of frame.

Oh yeah, when you are doing the forced perspective shots, you should give the girls eye lines and have them cheat their bodies so they aren't actually facing each other- when they look directly at each other you can tell one is up stage and the other is downstage. Put a piece of tape on the wall for each of them to look at and the effect will work better.

Like I said before, I really love your stuff! Thanks for producing these videos!

Thanks, I will keep these in mind. Most of the points We are aware of but get lost in the rush of shooting. but I will make a list for next shoot.

I admit this was a rushed shoot as the girls had some transportation issues and we wound up pressed for time. I think we shot this in 1.5hr We usually take about 3-4hrs to shoot one of these.

But I want to really do a slow shrinking clip were a girl shrinks in course of several different scenes. So I would show a process shot but then it stops and she is shorter then later we see another process shot and her even smaller etc etc. The thing that is a bit confusing is were to put the process shots since it would not be a continuous shrink.

I want to try a shot were she shrinks but giant underwear does not. This will involve a few tricks when shooting green screen shots.

I had a thought when I saw the nylons in this one. Would it be possible to have a shrinking-out-of-pantyhose thing? Is that doable? 'Cuz it might be sexy.

Amazing work as always Gary. My "criticisms"-such as they are-remain the same as for the last video. Once the girl loses the bulk of her clothes, I think it would be best to show her shrinking by having her drop down-like Isobel does in Call Girl Collector. Keeping the clothing in the same position throughout the shot would also be great, as would a change in the pitch of the girls voice! Aside from that, this is definitely another 9.5 out of 10 video!

Shot one with Velvets today. We shot it completely on the green screen and we are trying a few new things. I do not know if they will work. Shrinking into the underwear and shirt. Again, Not sure how it will come out...

The story is she is at the doctor complaining about getting smaller. Turns out she saw him a week earlier and he injected her with a Flu vaccine but now she is getting smaller. The effect is subtle at this point and he convinces her the the Flu has made her lose weight. We cut to later and she is at home and the shrinking starts again and she decides she needs to get to the doctor.

The rest of the video is her running through the streets as she gets smaller and smaller. The challenge here was to have her shrink as she is running as opposed to standing in a room.

She makes it to the doctor were we get the reveal that he was using her as test subject all along.
