It's nice to see so many artists succeed those that have left the scene (for whatever reason it may be).

The filter boggles the mind. Far be it for anyone to have to accidentally look at sexually-explicit pictures on a fetish website. The vast majority of great TF art on the Internets are ending up somewhere other than Transfur. I wonder why.

But, yes, this sequence is full of win.

Furaffinity and Deviantart both amuse me. I've had several photos rejected because they were photomorphs. Had I drawn the same image by hand they would have accepted it with no problem, considering they routinely have far more graphic material.

Uh, TransFur, by its own definitions, is not a fetish site. The admins have gone so far as to get links to it removed from the TF fetish entry on Wikipedia. The site's content policy reads, and I quote:

No obscene material
Although Transfur goes to great lengths to implement user-customizable content filtering technology and ratings systems, many children use Transfur's services.

There is, however, a definite issue with the way the site is administered. For one thing, the definition of 'obscene' they use is particularly loose (case in point, one of Yapi's sequences, versus this one). It's also difficult to get in touch with the administrators at times, and if having a piece removed is anything like having your comment privileges revoked, they don't go out of their way to notify a person of their violations. I was banned from posting by accident at one point, and only found out when I went to post later. I had to hunt an admin's e-mail address down, but fortunately that was reversed.

This is because those artists disagree with TransFur's policies, and have found different venues to show their work. This is fantastic. TransFur was one of the first TF-related art sites on the Web, but it's not the only one, and it certainly won't be the last one.

Really, it does everyone involved a disservice when people decide to complain instead of doing something constructive. Make your own sites. Find ones that do allow sexually explicit art. Spread the word about them. People go to sites like DeviantArt and TransFur because they've heard of them before. Forums like this one are the perfect venue for introducing people to new sites.

...And back on the original topic, while the sequence in question doesn't really spin my wheels, it's definitely well-executed. I hope the whole thing finds a home on an art site that embraces explicit subject matter.

I actually found this first on Transfur, and was clicking on #4 to see how it ends, when some admin pulled the last two, then the whole sequence got dropped.
