Final Fantasy 7 for PS3 at Best Buy?

Ok, this is jsut sloppyness on Best Buy's part. This isn't the first time they've done it. Anyone else remember that they also (when AC came out) were taking Preorders for it? Then it turned out they were wrong, and people were PIIIIISSSSED! This is jsut another case of Best Buy f@#$ing up again

Being someone that works at Best Buy and has placed several of those posters around the store I call Bull Shit on this one. There is no date for a FF7 remake and as yet SQENIX has been tight liped as to wheater they are doing one or not. This may be some kind of typo but none of my posters have any mention of FF7 on them anywhere
And before you try the "how do you know" I am trained by Best Buy/Ninendo/EA/Xbox/SQUENIX/Playstaion/Rock Star games, usualy in that order ,though I would prefer not to hear anymore about the XBox [personal opinions on game systems vary please do not flame me or anyone on their preferance]

Corporations do stupid shit and can't get their act together. That's why street dates and price changes get leaked a long time before the official announcement. GameStop, Best Buy, and Target are all notorious for putting items into inventory before the announcement is made so that any savy associate can see "oh look, there's a metallic silver Nintendo DS coming out in a couple months that Nintendo hasn't said a word about."

The poster is just another case of some inventory middle-manager screwing things up again.

I know there's a tech demo, but they're also releasing Advent Children Complete soon on DVD and Blu-Ray and it has FF VII in the title and it would play on a PS3 either way. There are some retards in marketing that would just jump the gun with the PS3 and FF VII thing.

Actually when the First Advent Children came out, Best Buy F@#$ed things up by putting out Pre-orders for FF VII of PS3, so it could very well be the Blu-ray FFVII Complete.

And on the matter of the Tech Demo. They jsut used a game that everyone knew, and had seen, with notorisouly bad grapchics, and said: "this is what a PS3 can do!" The Tech Demo is used again (albeit redone) in the end on Crisis Core., after the credits are done. If you look at Aerith and hte city, you'll notice difference with the Tech Demo. They took it from PS3 In-game graphics to CG movie grapchics.

But yeah. The chances of a PS3 FFVII are, Sadly, very VERY low.

ok, that E3'05 thing was only to show off the power of the PS3. After that was seen by FF nerds they thouht that is was a remake of a great game. If square was remaking it gaming website would be talking about it for months now.

And one more thing, if best buy was say that it was coming out why is it coming out on a saturday and not a tuesday?

This could not be for the Blu-Ray edition of FF7:AC mainly because that is not due out until March of next year in Japan and Square-Enix has yet to announce a stateside release date. Also I will mention that the Blu-Ray edition of FF7:AC will be bundled with a demo of FFXIII for the PS3 it will also include a good number of Square-Enix upcoming game trailers.
