Really? With the digital explosion and the internet a part of everyones lives.. you don't see how an updated tron is possible?

Besides, the first movie pretty much took place in what was the internet! One of the first pieces of software Flynn meets was accounting software (or something like that). Games played heavily into the movie but he wasn't zapped into a Nintendo.

Matrix 4? But i agree. The light cycles need to do those 90 degree angles at least once for it to be true to the original. At least they have members of the original. When is it due out?

Dont forget, once Flynn and his gang broke free of the light cycle game through the crack in the wall they were able to drive the bikes normally and in curves. So it's not that big a change.
