well, the photoshop skillz are comming back to you me thinks
i tried it myself a few times ( coloring.. although in gimp ) and failed horribly

Oh i just need to work more with colors. I haven't done that much colored works yet, that's all.

Wow, so impressive! You've improved so much in such a short time-span, it's crazy. Some seriously impressive and dynamic color and lighting in the piece, it's wonderful.

Makes me think I need to start being more adventurous with my own color work and strive to improve.

If I manage to do it, then it is not that impossible. Just be bold and try to understand how you would like to colors and how to manage to do that.
