Re: I always cry at movies

My sister bought me the Powerpuff Girls movie years ago for Christmas. What's weird is it's a good film! I'd love to have the Powerpuff Girls tattooed onto my arm. The movie didn't make me cry though.

Titanic made me sob uncontrollably. I still don't think it's a good film. The images of frightened and crying kids pushed me over the edge though.

Re: I always cry at movies

Titanic loses all credibility due to a dream my friend had after watching:

He was some British dude. Our friend Noah was the captain. I was a random Irish guy who got shot. My friend Eric was the dude who jumped and hit the propellers.

Noah survived, and commandeered a lifeboat. They pull my friend out of the water, and have this amusing exchange:

"WHERE YOU IN THE BOAT WHEN THE BOAT TIPPED OVER"
"NO YOU SILLY GOOSE I WAS IN THE WATER"

I cry at movies I shouldn't. Like Knowing. I guess I have father issues or something if I have to cry at a Nicholas Cage flick.

I don't know. He's done some touching shit. Most of Nick Cage's films are fucked up though. I swear I saw him in a porno once.

Re: I always cry at movies

You know what made me cry pretty hard?

The Fountain.

None of my film teachers has seen it, despite being one of the better modern films (?・ω・)

Also, Mai-HiME. Goddamn, what a fucking gut-wrenchingly depressing plot device (╬ ಠ益ಠ)

I loved you so long is the modern movie that I most recently cried at. It is french and well worth a watch.

I watched The Fountain because it was sci-fi. Melodrama really isn't my thing, it's just too depressing. We covered horror, melodrama, and noir in my film genres class, so...

We had to watch Mildred Pierce in that class, and I cried right in the middle of the class; it was pretty embarassing, especially because I'm too shy to socialize, so my first impression on a lot of people was probably "androgynous crybaby" ( ;?Д`)
