Re: Spaceballs the BE
Sorry, everyone. Didn't think it would go over this badly, but I just wanted to share, considering I lurk around a lot.

The rubbery sound effects were nice. The story, concept, fact that Brooks attached himself to it in the first place, horrible. He's better than this.

Re: Spaceballs the BE
Hey there OP!
Don't let peoples general disklike of the clip make you feel bad for having posted it in the first place. It's not you nor your service to the community at large they are disparaging it's the animation itself. I wonder if Mel feels out of touch with everything today with how much stuff has changed and his last few movies being nowhere near as great as his earlier stuff. Perhaps this is just a last ditch effort to make a bit of money on one of his great classics on his part. The humor is closer to his latest stuff then his earlier stuff and I think it's because of the success of stupid movies that have all followed in the footsteps of Scary Movie and most of these latter ones were pretty bad. With society in general having money issues and other issues (depression like) entertainment outlets are sought after to make people forget and comedies will do better because laughter is a good reliever of stress. Just my surface thoughts on the subject |
