OHMY! That's a lot of conflict. Oh, well, at least, it didn't bankrupt the country like BushCheney's wars did.

Also never mind that those were all policing, humanitarian, or peace-keeping missions initiated multilaterally to intevene in stuff like civil war, genocide, or violations of international accords. Basically, if you want to keep peace, you kinda have to end war. Not to say Slick Willy didn't have faults. Also interesting: he's probably the most fiscally conservative executive in the last few decades.

How about Andrew Jackson, the first populist president.

To answer your silly question:
William Henry Harrison - Because he was gone in 30 days.
and
Richard Milhous Nixon - Because he was an evil bastard.
I wasn't being arrogant. I said that I want to keep it to president merely to keep things simple. I did acknowledge that some of the people on here are not American so just post what you know. And if you don't care then don't post. Like my mama always said, "If ya got nothin good to say then say nothin at all". O god do I hate her

Re: The Presidents

I like Nixon a lot better than some other presidents. I rank him well above the likes of Reagan, Ford, Bush I, Bush II, Andrew Jackson, etc.

And on many policies he was better than most who followed him. (Better than Bubba, the O, W, Bush Sr., Ford, and the Gipper)

What about LBJ and FDR? I admit Nixon was a pretty dece president but I find him to be one of the guys that disturbed the image (Though LBJ and Harding didn't help at all >_<). I see FDR as our best because of how his leadership brought America together and created programs that are still useful today. Now honestly I don't really know what Nixon truly accomplished other than establishing a positive connection with the commies, creating the republican image, and lowering the crime rate. Honestly his efforts I found to have a positive step but it's legacy doesn't seem to hold well in today's world (other than watergate). FDR I see as being the man who helped boost us out of the depression and creating stabilization and prosperity (though that is largely due to the war).

That's my take.

LBJ and FDR where pretty awesome. My quote was talking about the people who FOLLOWED Nixon. Both LBJ and FDR preceded him.

Sam Huston sounds badass. He fckin went up to a guy and beat him with a hickory cane, then got away scot free. That's badass and then some!
