I haven't watched it, but in some werewolf forums they say that there was no TF at all. In fact, some guys there were "happy, because we prefer to have it off-camera and use our imagination". Maybe they should have used their imagination ENTIRELY to "imagine" the whole movie so they didn't need to pay for it. WTF???

Really Red was a combination of two things. (spoilers ahead)

1) A love triangle between Red and two others. Not as Twilight-esque as the Edward/Jacob thing, but you still had the timid guy and the dark mysterious guy thing going on.

2) The "who is the werewolf" plot. Basically just a regular "one of these is the villian" plots from detective or suspense stories.

Actually it wasn't really horror as it was billed as in the trailers. It was more suspense.
In terms of how bad many movies today are, this one wasn't horrible, but it wasn't anything stellar either. Personally the most recent werewolf movie I liked was The Wolfman in 2009.

And, Cykath, the endings of the book and movie are pretty much the same.

We are a bit lazy for that, sorry... but you can begin with (for example) "The company of wolves". Easy to find, and some of the very few good werewolf movies made to the date.
But don't expect proper female werewolf TFs, sorry man.
