Re: Solar Cream - WIP
OK, guys, it's out.
Well, not fond of it, but hey, it's my tastes. I know lots of dragon girl fans here will be chirping and singing for JJ's Greatness. ![]() Remember, guys : no more PDF now. It's seems "E Book" format is the new trend now. So : STEP 1 : Download and Install Adobe Digital Editions. (I MYSELF highly hate Adobe products in general. But it's JJ and Lulu's choice, so I don't complain. Neither should any of you.) ![]() STEP 2 : NO MATTER WHAT, subscribe to the Adobe Services : would suck to have your dear computer crash, and can't get access to your file anymore because it's registered under a computer ID and not a user ID. I MYSELF highly hate to deliver personal data on any services, but hey, they play hard, deal with it. And cry later. ![]() STEP 3 : Download the link file. Open it. TADA : here's yoru file. Good luck with the new interface though, it sucks like hell. ![]() PS : Just a memento for JJ and all artists who'd like to follow his path : Linux people will hate you. A lot. Because they won't be able to read you stuff anymore. (tested and failed on my Linux virtual box, and on my second Linux OS) And some angry Linux users who can be even more hot-headed than me may be some pirats. ![]() Imo, you're putting yourself in danger, JJ, people will hack more your stuff. But that's my personal opinion, and it's all it's gonna be. Just saying that countermeasure will make you lose some customers while increasing the numbers of leechers. Same advice to LoreKeep if he ever reads me. (in short, "KEEP IN PDF") ![]()

Re: Solar Cream - WIP
Love the content, hate the packaging.
Adobe Digital Editions is nowhere near as convenient as a pdf file and having to download a program, install, sign up with adobe, login, then finally get to download my file (and all this after the usual rigamarole involved in buying it) is a hassle. Thankfully most of that won't have to be repeated and wouldn't be as much of a problem if, as Xtrem said, Digital Editions interface didn't SUCK. |

Re: Solar Cream - WIP
So hey, anyone know how to make it not look like heavy-aliased ass in Digital Editions? Looks like a great piece, but I can't tell because I can't find a 'show at native resolution' option.

Re: Solar Cream - WIP
If you figure it out, please share because right now the only viewing options digital editions seems to have are 'tiny' or 'pixelated'.

Re: Solar Cream - WIP
There's one. XD I knew I wouldn't be the only one with such a problem.
Here's Xtrem's tip : In the upper part of the screen, there's a bar where you can choose he display to be wether 1 page, 2 pages, as large as screen, etc. Chose the personal adjustment, which is the last option. It looks like a page with a small white post . A little window will appear and, tadaaaaaaa, by moving the bar with the screen, you can chose 100% If you didn't understand, I can make screenshots.

Re: Solar Cream - WIP
Actually, that percentage appears to be % of screen width. I get two different sizes on two different monitors, and neither was correct. Screenshots attached; does that look normal to anyone?

Re: Solar Cream - WIP
Hmmm... didn't check that. At 100%, it doesn't look aliased at all.
Well, ask for a refund, I guess . XD (not worth it, when you know the price, really)

Re: Solar Cream - WIP
Can't say I'm a fan of this new program. I have to set the custom zoom-in thingie at %115 to make it the least distorted. And it's like using a lame alternative to simply creating a new folder in My Documents.

Re: Solar Cream - WIP
Well......that new format was unpopular. I've changed it back to standard PDF :\
