Haaaaah, I've never been good at picking mains! I just like switching characters so much! Sometimes I main Pit, sometimes Sheik, sometimes Greninja... And now they've got new characters, too! Argh, I wanna play this so much!!

(I got the launch day off too, lol. And the Monday after, just in case.)

I'm happy to know that all the DLC will be from new/unrepresented series!

Sucks for people who wanted characters like Waluigi, Rex/Pyra, Bandana Waddle Dee, Shadow, etc., though.

Nah, Bandanna Dee is out because the Kirby series is already represented, and the claim was that all 5 DLC characters will be from series that haven't been represented. Whether that means as a whole or just as playable fighters is debatable, and would determine whether Shantae has a chance or not (since she's an equippable Spirit).

You mention Waddle Dee which is why I brought up Bandana Dee. Another if possible could be Linkle from Hyrule Warriors.

I'm also hoping we get another entry from Final Fantasy. Cloud is cool and all, but maybe someone from a more recent game. They could get in through the same loop-hole that Cloud did. Through that music game, so... pretty much anyone in the Final Fantasy series could get in. I'm thinking the Hero of Light (player character) from FFXIV. And Music/characters from that game were in the same 3DS title Cloud used to get in.

Diablo now has an entry on a Nintendo system. So maybe the Necromancer could be Smash DLC. Could play sort of like Olimar but instead of throwing Pikmin they'd summon skeletons and zombies and golems while throwing soul spears.

Doom Guy is an option, though he might be a little much considering how bloody his games are.

Captain Toad/Toadette. For fuck sake, let Toad be playable in Smash already, little fucker has earned it for all the beatings he's taken on Peach's behalf.

Hmm, Octopath Traveler character maybe? That game's pretty cool.
