As far as plots to destroy the world go... that one is dumb as hell but pretty sexy.

I thinks this is the best shot of the giantess Morgana Le Fey.

It sort of takes most of the point out of the She Hulk. Its not hulk at all, its more like a Spider-Man character.
Recently there have been a few exceptions, most notably the She-Hulk sequence in the new Fantastic 4 animation, but these are very few and far between. This sort of thing isn't even that common in comics, anime or manga. The censors really crush our mainstream content.
There's an old joke that when a male hero gets hit even by an explosion, maybe his cape gets torn a little bit. When a Heroine gets hit by a simple backhand, her clothes explode into tatters. Unfortunately, in the mainstream comics, we aren't going to see the She-Hulk pull her shirt off. What I wouldn't give to see a live action She-Hulk tv show where she pulls her shirt off.

But it works against us well at the opposite end of the spectrum. If a male hero gets hit by an ENORMOUS energy blast/explosion and they survive thanks to their powers.. the may end up shirtless. But female characters will always hang on to a few scraps of indestructible cotton covering them.

Re: Super sized super heroines

At least things have improved from the old days when women were limited to shrinking or going invisible and you can actually have female brawlers - and a group of them going up against Rulk, no less.

But yes, probability that a guy gaining super powers will grow in height/muscle and rip his clothes? 70-80%... for a girl? Maybe 3%... if she's lucky.

Anyway, girls aren't going to get naked in mainstream comics... that's just the way of the world, really.

You guys must read all the wrong books. I can think of a few female super heroes who's powers quite often render them naked, just not from growth spurts.

Husk (powers cause her clothes to disintegrate or she forcefully rips them off)
Dust (turns into a living sandstorm, leaving empty clothes behind to be retrieved later (originally))
Mercury (liquid metal body allows her to melt right out of anything she's wearing (unless it's her uniform))
Wasp (shrinks out of anything that's not her uniform.. you should know this one already jeez )
Wolfsbane (I don't need to explain this one)

Those are examples off the top of my head of ladies who's powers (depending on the writer) render them naked so long as they are not wearing those accursed unstable molecule uniforms. In the case of Husk, especially in Uncanny X-Men back when Austen was writing it, she was just walking fanservice. Every issue where she used her powers she would end up naked.

So nude girls in comics, happens all the time. But nude as a result of growing or "hulking out" not so much.

Re: Super sized super heroines

Hi everyone I've just read the first issue of Mary Marvel (From December 1945) and there's a story where three business men put growth hormones into the town's water system and it causes everyone to grow to about 10 feet tall (Except for them). This is just so that they can make money out of selling super sized items to the giant people. The hormone also effect Mary Batson (Mary Marvel in normal form) and causes her to grow like everyone else. But sadly when she becomes Mary Marvel she is normal size. But when it's all over and everyone gets the cure Mary herself forgets to take and when she becomes Mary Batson again she is still 10 feet tall. Unfortunately she also get she the cure. Oh well. As far as I know its the first comic to have true GTS content (Unless someone can prove me wrong)

The comic can be found here. http://www.comicbooksarchive.com/mary.php and click on Mary Marvel #1. When its downloaded its the 4th story. It called the Growth Epidemic.
