I'VE FIGURED IT OUT:

God is Omniscient. God cares about all living beings. God sees you when you are sleeping and awake.

Re: Stupid Creationist!

See now, I always thought it was the opposite, Santa being an analogy for God that is far more appealing to kids because he given them physical objects, be they shitty toys or not.

And yes, science IS open to new ideas or more likely, slight changes in the accepted norm over time as new things are discovered or proven. And that's what Ben Stein's docu-movie thing tried to argue, that science isn't willing to look at new ideas (ie intelligent design) because they 'think they have it all figured out'.

Obviously that's bull and Stein, while smart, needs some fine tutoring in the scientific method. Science WOULD look at intelligent design if it had a decent amount of evidence to back it up, but it doesn't, it's all just a lot of picking and choosing stuff that suits their idea best, which is not how science works, let alone common sense.

Re: Stupid Creationist!

Whole lotta atheistic dogma (Irony at it's finest) on this board.

That being said I think I shall just send myself to the sharks and post this,

The idea of creationism being taught as science is ludicrous. You cannot prove or disprove via the scientific method thus it should not be taught as science.

That being said I find it equally ludicrous that people are actually trying to disprove creationism. God isn't able to be disproven by science the same way He can't be proven by science. The laws that we are bound by and interact with the world around us would have been made by God and thus cannot bind Whoever made them.

Or maybe he lacked the power to alter some thing. But then they said he's infallible. Well, if he's not all knowing, and he's not all powerful, then he can't be infallible either. Well damn, silly creationists! Leave the science to the scientists, and go find something books to burn or something.
Two gods, one good one evil, maybe? The good one trying to create, the evil one trying to fuck it up? Like Christianity's God and Lucifer. Therefore GoodGod couldn't create a perfect world, because of EvilGod.

Just an idea.

Well we have worshiped multiple deities in the past. That actually sounds like Yin and Yang....

No that sounds like the bastardized version that most ignorant people believe is based on ancient principles of good and evil, when really it's a martial arts concept.

Opposing forces? Two halves of the same coin? Any of that ring a bell?

Silly person. The whole opposing forces thing originally meant push and pull. Literally. None of this nebulous BS that Taoism came up with.

That's what religious movements like Taoism made of yin and yang.

The martial principle of opposing forces has to do with the manipulation of myofascial meridians that run throughout the body, manipulating these in oppositional ways to one another generates a very intense rush of chemicals that both chinese and japanese martial arts consider spiritual energy, known respectively as "chi" and "ki" in modern terms. The Yin Yang, or Inyo Ho in Japanese, is formulated off these ideas of positive and negative pull, the two dots in the symbol represent the forehead and the base of the pelvis, two opposing and key areas in creating a connected state of power.

For a modern example, view the western made anime "Avatar: The Last Airbender" in which the yin yang based spirits, Tui and La, are called push and pull, the original meaning of these principles, and the foundation of chi and ki. Its actually not spiritual at all, it was warped into such later on.

Yes and as Alien posted the concept was made into a spiritual thing. It originally had no spiritual connotation whatsoever.

Every time I tried to explain what I was actually saying or later excuse myself was met with him cutting me off and shouting over the top of me.

I was about to the point where I was going to inflict physical harm on him (I am overly sensitive about anything that I persieve (spelling?) as censorship do to the continuous trauma inflicted on me in elementary school (Related to a speech impediment I had and resulted in me trying to kill myself in second grade on multiple ocassions). Fortunately the person I have previous refereed to as Mr. Nice rescued me (he knows of my sensitivity to this).

I find the people I debate on youtube to be more sensible and courteous than the guy I argued with. Sure they might insult you, but at least you get to finish your sentence.
I find your topic title ignorant and insensitive. Thank you for insulting all people that dare disagree with you. Also, I suggest seeking some help for your issues with this.
Being driven to the point of wanting to inflict pain on others just because they think you're wrong is dangerous, and you might hurt someone someday.
