Re: Solar Cream - WIP
I just went and jailbroke the ebook formatting. A bit of a hassle, but I am a determined bugger when it comes to getting my money's worth. I honestly had no real issue with the idea, what with the auto-compiling PDF, but it was the DRM lock which prevents using anything but an ebook program which irked me. Not gonna share the exact details on how I broke the DRM lockout as it isn't technically smiled upon, but also isn't illegal. I'll just say that Google is your friend and leave it at that.

Re: Solar Cream - WIP
Would be quicker for all of those who bought the e-book format to get JJ to give them link with file.
I've worked on that format for 3 months... not that part precisely, but I had to know how to use it. Customers losing a lot of time (I don't know how long it takes, since I have my own tools to convert that format... professional tool :P ) in search and download isn't in JJ's best interest.

Re: Solar Cream - WIP
JJ, I am so appreciative of the change back to PDF I have bought it a second time as a show of support.
Also it's great to see the art without it being all screwed up and jaggy. |

Re: Solar Cream - WIP
Well, I was worried for a minute there I was going to have to quit buying your stuff, JJ. As much as I like what you do, I didn't feel like having to install a new program and deal with a bunch of DRM crap. Nice to hear you decided to switch back, I'll be picking this one up come payday.

Re: Solar Cream - WIP
I know I came off as being ungrateful for the packaging, but I never did complain about the product itself. If I have to buy it again just to get the PDF, I'll do it, just not anytime soon (mostly because I try not to spend too much money at once, no matter how cheap it is).
Adobe Digital Edition isn't the end of the world, for me. I agree with Malhavoc about the idea, but I go back to my initial opinion about it being a lame alternative to simply keeping everything in a folder. |

Re: Solar Cream - WIP
I went ahead and spent the 15 minutes learning to pop the DRM off of the PDF. Ironically, this would mean I'd have no problem with using Digital Editions in the future, since now that I have the tools it takes 30 seconds to liberate the contents. However, uh, it also proves that Digital Editions, like all DRM, punishes the innocent and rewards the guilty.
As for the contents, yes. Buy this. It is one of the more wonderful pieces I've seen from him in a while. |

Hey, Jack? Aren't you gonna mention a certain "Alice" pic you just did? If so, please do mention it here => http://www.process-productions.com/f...=16230&page=30

Re: Solar Cream - WIP
For those who already bought. Have dialogue in this comic as "Epic Empress"?
