I like it sometimes, but I can get sex without BE, and much more easily. When I look for good BE art/stories, I want the best possible depiction of the transformation(s). Sex can be included if it doesn't get in the way.

It's not that I mind sexual content, in general, it's that it tends to monopolize the story. I'd rather read six similar, short breast growth sequences than one pages-long sex scene. And yeah, romance is a factor. The more sexual a story gets, the more likely that something will turn me off. Rape, ugly guys, extreme promiscuity, sex toys, censorship (not a factor when only breasts are exposed), etc.

Sex? Sure? Why not? I suppose I'm just used to seeing BE stories with sex in it that I don't really give it too much thought (all of the thinking is on the expansion, hehe). Although, I did get an idea for a nice story that lacked sex (despite one character trying) and had a nice twist at the end. I should write that one day.

The gist: sex, that's fine. Don't need it though.

I personally like sex with BE as well. It seems to express part of the reason for the BE and what could happen after or even during the BE. Tend to dislike the stories where the focus is more on th sex than the BE, but beggers cannot be choosers sometimes. Some of my favorite stories have been sex causing the BE.

The most important thing: The artstyle

If the art is bad, I can't bring myself to enjoying a manga. It really just depends on the mangaka's artstyle, some artstyles are best suited for certain genres. Like, I do not find someone like Toriyama's artstyle suitable for anything erotic at all. Someone like Manabe Jouji has a much more suitable artstyle for ero manga so if he does a sex scene, I find it much more tastefully done in terms of presentation than anything similar to Akira Toriyama's.

As for people's disgust with male anatomy, I feel the same disgust for the female anatomy depending on the mangaka's artstyle. A well-drawn penis is actually quite erotic if done by the right artist. I'm also the type that finds censors erotic (laughs).

I don't care what the character's are doing or what is really happening to them as long as the artist's style looks good to me when it happens. I'm not going to enjoy something just because it falls in a certain genre if the mangaka obviously has a hideous artstyle. n_n

Anyway, to sum it all up. My opinion is subjective based on the art. Even if I still haven't quite gotten myself into watersports and scat... I do know some artists whose style can depict those situations favourably. Yeah, it's about who does it rather than how it's done, much more interesting that way.

I agree with Taruby. Depends on the artist.

From what I can remember, the only artist that I truly enjoyed for erotic mangas was Yui Toshiki. Her Hot Tails series, Boku no Futatsu, and the few that were in comic momohime have great art that match up to the erotic tales.

Taruby, I'd say that goes for pretty much every genre though. I agree that certain parts of the anatomy (most of it) just look better depending on the artist. I tend to be turned off by any girl "spreading her lips" though. I find that no matter how much I like a particular fetish, the art is always the last word on whether I keep something or not.

As far as sex with BE, I'm for it.
Partly because I'm so used to it, partly because the most common "sex" in BE is paizuro, which happens to be something I like. It's hard to avoid sex with BE, because there are few men (fictional or not) that would not want to bang a girl whose breasts just got bigger.
