Re: Good, reliable commission artists?

Just a few comments on some of the mentioned artists in terms of current commison avaibility ( absed on my own experience and state of information)

Solios: hard to get in touch with
HMD: not doing commissons right now
Locofuria: not doing commsions right now
Mamabliss: swamped with work

However all of them are worth to wait for

But forgive me if I don't think that, for whatever reason, you've got something against me and I don't think your less than kind comments have been because I'm no longer a good artist in your eyes. I didn't run over your dog, did I?

Anyway, I think Mr. DNA and Blackshirtboy are excellent suggestions. They do their work in color, too, and have wonderful styles.
Hmm. Did I insult you on these forums? You will have to show me where cause I don't think I did. I have nothing against you I was trying not to be rude but if you want me to give an exact reason I don't like your art anymore cause it is very lacking in variety. I have found the same problem in Ariana's art work as well but the original poster had already mentioned that he did not like her style so I didn't mention her knowing she wasn't an option to begin with. The best way I can describe it is throughout the years you can notice a gradual improvement of the art of many of the artists I have mentioned but You and Ariana have been very static in your quality. While I would say you were better to start with then many now you have fallen a bit behind. This is of course just my own opinion.

Yeah. She's great! I got a piece from her only a couple of months ago. She did take 2 weeks to get back to me after I made the initial request, but after that it took only a couple of days to get the sketch and then a week to get the final pic. And of course her art is top notch. (I'm looking at the dates of the emails as I type this, these numbers are spot on (give or take a day), not a vague memory or a guesstimate). What more could you ask for? =D

Re: Good, reliable commission artists?

It's sorted, she's got back to me and will probably have a sketch ready this week. Thanks for the advice y'all. I'm thinking, could we get this thread stickied? I think it would be good both ways for the TF community to have a list of all the available and reliable TF commissioners with links to their DA/FA galleries for easy access. Lorekeep?

You didn't insult me on this forum other than not liking my art. That's fine. However, on one of my art pieces depicting a man transforming from a cocoon into a woman and my own hopes on transitioning into a woman, you did leave the following comment and I quote: "Sigh pity people can't differentiate fantasy from reality anymore and that others encourage that." It was a comment directed at me and at a time where I'm sorting out a lot of things. Needless to say, it was not very helpful. Dropping a comment questioning whether a person has lost their mind would be considered by most an "insult".

It's that comment primarily, along with the comments on this thread, that makes me suspect you've got an axe to grind with me. It's one of the things I've always hated about the internet. You can bare your teeth, sink them hard into a person, and then disappear into anonymity.

Regarding my art, I'm always trying to improve, have fun, and work hard. If I've fallen, lagged, I'm flawed, or become static, I'm all ears. I just know when I'm getting kicked in the balls, rather than getting a helpful critique.

Re: Good, reliable commission artists?

I'd like to change the subject of this topic ever so slightly, what do you guys think is the greatest commissioned work around the tf world? Who drew/wrote it? Who commissioned it? If you don't know it was very likely TRC. Also if you guys had the money to commission an artist, who would it be and what it be?

Re: Good, reliable commission artists?

Well I will gladly vouch for pretty much any artist featured on my site. If you wish to contact me directly with more specific questions, I'd be glad to go a little more in-depth.

Re: Good, reliable commission artists?

most of the artists on my website are good, but there are a few that definitely aren't reliable.
Just ask if one peaks your interest off my list.
