A lot of the content decline is us. Not searching out or producing new content. Its not like it isn't getting made, and certainly there being several companies around servicing us is a pretty different scenario from a decade or two ago. A lot more of it is other venues being more efficient for quick 'here's a bunch of images' stuff.

I toss what I buy up here, and some other stuff besides, but there's just far fewer folks actively sharing stuff here versus going to other sites. It's unfortunate.

Patreon seems more applicable to someone that is already churning out material, as a sort of more formalized donation setup (One where they can start predicting an income level that may or may not enable more time to be spent, ala EGS). As a fund-raising venue, it seems poorly situated.

Wasn't going to engage again here, but I thought it was worth mentioning that Maxgrowth has produced the perks that were promised. I don't want to get involved in more grumpiness on the topic. But, delivery of perks/content seemed to be a sticking point with many folks.
