So much for teaching.

I think what this forum really needs is a little understanding, rather than a lot of bad attitude and flaming.

If someone can come up with one meaningful google search that gets you a informative list of pages containing be codes, I would be very suprised. Just because you know a lot about how to cheat in videogames does not mean that everyone instantly knows where to even start looking.

Oh, and if someone disputes my comments about TheWarlock, feel free to reat the list of his "posts": http://process.gtsdepot.net/forum/se...searchid=20756

Dammit, didn't we already go through all this?

Look, I'm somewhat on the same side as Warlock here - I agree with many of his opinions. But I think this whole same song and dance can get out of hand, especially because y'all start repeating yourselves fairly quickly.

Though I concur that there is probably no 'index' page available for easy listing of all big-breast cheat codes for video games (though I haven't looked around on the BEA forums for a while, it's possible there's something there) I just took 5 minutes on google and came up with codes for Outlaw Volleyball Remixed, BloodRayne (unsure if it's 1 or 2), Playboy: The Mansion (well, not really a cheat, if I understand correctly it's built into the game), Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, and Grand Theft Auto 3.

It required 2 google searches and some common sense with regards to which sites to examine: "bigger boobs" cheat code & "bigger breasts" cheat code - all those games had codes linked on the first 2 search pages.

I mean, come on Fake_Name. This isn't rocket science here. I have no idea if any of these codes actually work, because I really don't care enough to actually test any of them out. Additionally, one of the games I found he specifically -mentioned- (BloodRayne), which means he couldn't have done even his own preliminary searches, and so it was right for him to be called on that fact.

NOW, that having been said - Warlock, your response wasn't fair either. As SoulChaser later clarified (relatively early in the discussion), he was "asking if any one has made any new codes from there cheating programes they have." Though the english language is apparently a bit out of our friend's grasp, that's not exactly uncommon amongst online forum denizens. The real point is that he was requesting information specific to current forum-users: it is possible with some additional work to create your own codes that will actually modify pieces of the game (though to come up with your own codes is, as I understand it, a HUMONGOUS pain in the ass). For those interested: http://www.codemasters-project.net/p...ortal/news.php

So maybe he already has fifty codes - that doesn't mean he can't look for more that Process forumgoers might have made. Your response indicates you didn't realize that's what he was asking for... suggesting that you opened your mouth concerning a topic about which you were mis/uninformed. And if you DID realize what he was asking, you had no business sending him to GameFAQs as the request was aimed directly at Process forumgoers.

You claim you're somebody who has taken the time to learn... but being knowledgeable about certain facts doesn't mean you know about ALL of them - and I think you shot your mouth off a bit concerning a topic about which you're mis/underinformed. Though I will continue to agree that your stance on most issues has plenty of merit, I feel you overreached on this one.

My apologies, I may have gotten a bit aggravated, however, people are coming to this forum, and the first thing that certain people say to them is essentially "We don't want you here". The Process community is small enough without driving people away.

Also, you would be suprised how few people really know how to use google, though that impression may just be the fact that I do do some work in tech support, which tends to lead you to see the worst of the worst of computer users.

As to repetetion, that generally derives from the fact that people don't seem to read each other's arguements, and rather just reiterate what they have already said. As a rule, I always try to directly respond to what someone has said, rather than telling them they're wrong, and or stupid (cough *TheWarlock* cough).

All in all, i think The Process needs a bit more BE, and a whole lot less "ethics" flame wars.

As a clarification, a big part of the reason I respond to soul chaser the way I do is his history of doing exactly this on other boards, especially the BEA. He pops in, asks for freebies (usually from anime) and never offers anything. I'm fairly certain he's had at least two other forum accounts at the BEA besides his main, 'Manard.'

Kyu, I knew what he was asking for, as I actually work in the game industry, and he made the same request at the BEA anyway. It's been discussed there several times. Look at the link I did give him, all kinds of cheat codes, including BE codes, can be found there. I never claimed to know everything; just more than most people. And most important in this discussion, I know how to look for things myself, instead of spamming various forums until someone that doesn't know me gives me what I want.

Fake_Name, I did respond exactly to what he said; I gave him a link to a site that had codes he was looking for, but he would have to look for them himself once he got there. I just didn't give him a direct link to everything he wanted. I also said he was lazy and a piece of crap. I don't think the two comments need be exclusive. Also, which comments of yours should be 'refuted'? All you've posted about me (admittedly that I've seen, if you have more thoughts on me feel free to direct me to them) is your opinion of me, which is a personal thing specific to you, in no way a fact.

In short, I'm sick of him doing the same thing over and over, never giving anything back (except the occasional lame DBZ joke) and generally refusing to look for anything himself. Obviously people keep giving him stuff or he would've stopped a long time ago; but he is a leech to the core, and I really, really hate leeches.

Warlock -

I've been to GameFAQs. Many times (to my chagrin, I'm not nearly as good as I used to be =P). But like I said, he was asking US if we had any CUSTOM-MADE codes we had created ourselves. Hence GameFAQs would be excessive.

Now, like I said, I agree that a lot of what he's looking for is going to be stuff he could find on his own. But we've all got access to plenty of BE content - that doesn't mean we don't all want more. And this forum offers another group of people to question with regards to their custom-made codes, unavailable anywhere else. So no, you did not give him a link to what he wanted. You gave him a link to codes, but it's entirely possible that we as a community had personally-created unique codes specifically unavailable on GameFAQs, which is in fact what he was requesting. Go back and read my response to your post - I already outlined this. I think you just read what you wanted to in his request, and assumed the worst.

I'm unfamiliar w/his history (like I said, haven't been over to BEA for a while), so I can understand why you might make that mistake. But it doesn't change the fact that it is a mistake. I appreciate your dislike for leeches, and I share it. All I'm suggesting is that you make sure that everybody you flame (and make no mistake about it, your later posts -were- flames) deserves it... Because irrespective of knowledge about his prior history, your response was a bit over the line.

We're all here for the same reason, and I think it's worthwhile to try and get everybody to contribute as much as is possible... but browbeating those who don't necessarily live up to one particular standard isn't always particularly useful. Just saying.

Yes, but we are not hackers or code-smackers...
Hell, the closest thing to a hacker we might have is a hack author
