Well, Goliath died a while back, but it seems that everyone who uses Pym Particles but Hank seems to be keeling over.

Re: Super sized super heroines

I haven't been following Pym, since he's been in charge of the current Mighty Avengers, and I'll get to that book whenever I get around to buying the trades.

But that's the thing with character deaths in fiction. They're either meant as a way to make changes to the status quo, or help develop another character; or, in some cases, "out with the old, and in with the new," and bring in a younger character to carry on the legacy.

Speaking of Goliath's death, it did not occur to me that Mark Millar wrote Civil War. I had thought it was another of Bendis's events, since, you know, he's been writing nearly all of them within the past decade.

Goliath and Janet both died during Civil War & Skrull Invasion, but that was skrull-hank and not the real Hank.

Stature's still goin strong and so is the new Ant-Man. I've been enjoying Hanks new run as Wasp/Scientist Supreme (cool name!)

Re: Super sized super heroines

FemForce #152 / Gargantarama #15 is out.

The FemForce story "A Matter of Scale" was written by yours truly.
And my script included a multi-panel growing scene.

Don't know how it turned out after the final art, as I haven't gotten my comp copies yet, or seen preview art (the editor has been busy).

of course, more giantess stuff in the Gargantarama section, but there's at least the one story I know should have growth process.

here's the issue highlight on my website. click on cover pics for AC Webstore entry for the issue.

Re: Super sized super heroines

Hazaah! A valid reason to update this thread.

This was a surprising find, as I was on Comic Vine looking up the Golden Age heroine and supporting character from Sensational She-Hulk, the Blonde Phantom. I find it funny how her costume has nothing to do with ghosts. But, that is the Golden Age of comics for you.

I wish I knew who the artist was, because I've taken to liking the old art of these comics more and more.

The cover to #81 is possibly one of the greatest covers in comic book history. Nice find

True, though is that really the best way to use a torpedo?

That cover is easily one of the most savage things I've ever seen. I mean, why worry about firing control malfunctions, when someone can just ram it down the enemy's throat?
