The only reason they believe in it is because they've never tested it or attempted to support it. That way they can keep getting offended when people (and the natural world) disagree with them, and being offended at things gives you power.

Be as insulted as you like. This isn’t a matter of opinion. Creationism is the denial of a theory as scientifically legitimate as gravity and the heliocentric universe. If you were willing to grasp this, you’d see how ridiculous it is to cling to a fairytale in favour of science and wouldn’t have to feel so insulted by fact.

Wow. You didn't read a thing HOB said. Thanks for providing further evidence creationists are stupid.

HOB clearly said the reason they became angry to the point of wanting to inflict physical harm on the creationist being discussed is they were cutting them off and shouting over them. HOB also provided a detailed explanation of why this behaviour causes them such frustration:

(I am overly sensitive about anything that I persieve (spelling?) as censorship do to the continuous trauma inflicted on me in elementary school (Related to a speech impediment I had and resulted in me trying to kill myself in second grade on multiple ocassions).

The notion HOB wants to hurt others because they think they’re wrong is something entirely made up by you and you owe HOB an apology for suggesting something so insulting about them without a basis.

Actively denying scientific evidence upon which all modern biology is based in favour of a myth for which there is absolutely no evidence is dangerous, and you might hurt someone some day. It’s called fundamentalism. It makes people stupid and, in doing so, slows human progress.

I know it’s in the creationist’s nature to commit libel in order to “win” debate due to their lack of legitimate argument. To the rest of the world though, you look like a jerk grasping at straws.

Unfortunately prejudice isn't limited to just one side of the argument

I think for alot of people having faith is much like eating or breathing it's just something that _is_.

And for many of those that need proof to verify somethings existence and it's properties can't see _how_ anyone could be "so foolish" as to not require proof.

And of course many of those who do believe, cannot imagine how a person can get through life without faith/belief and see them as being without a moral compass.

And this cycle continues..
