@dsojourn: Well, the long pacing of this arc sure makes it FEEL a lot longer. Honestly, I read The World God Only Knows over an hour's time every few weeks, and ignore it for a few weeks after. I'm utterly amazed that such a concept for a manga is still running, much less getting an anime adaption. They should've been doing this story development 20-40 chapters ago.

Well, it seems there's definitely going to be a few more chapters of this Arc. As of the latest chapter, Keima has put the demonic attack on hold and has manipulated events so that Hinoki has eaten himself and Kusonogi. They're currently about to set out exploring the inside of her body to find and figtht the spirit directly while the military and a most-likely horrified Hinoki seem set to clash on the outside.
