Re: Messing Around in 3D

Glad to see people enjoyed it. I'm curious if the "invisible cut" I did for the eye color change was indeed invisible. I can see it, but then I also know exactly what to look for.

I have still more projects I'm working on, but they're going to take more time. Part of it is because I'm building custom sets instead, y'know, just having a white space. That means stuff like making these friezes for the temple set. It also means my I've learned just how slow my computer can be .

Re: Messing Around in 3D

Here are some teasers for what I'm working on. The 'temple robber' will be a still sequence. Amy from the group picture gets a whole animation; I've got the first 15 seconds done.

Looks Good. I like the images. Just 2 comments. On the 3rd one the where the legs and body meet looks a little odd, but I had to look close to notice it all. On the last pic the right leg doesn't seem to mesh with the body that well. It is like it is shifted down bit to low and so there is bit of flesh bulge. Over all great job and keep them coming I look forward to seeing more.

Hrm. I never noticed the seam before, but now I can't stop seeing it, damn you! The digitigrade legs in image three actually are a second model that gets pasted over the normal legs so that obviously is behind that; I'll have to see if there are any adjustments I can make to cover up the join. The last one fortunately is just from the leg positioning (it looked fine to me at 1am...).
I'm glad to see that combining different models worked out as well as I thought it would.

Unfortunately, my computer died, so work will be delayed until I get a proper replacement.

Re: Messing Around in 3D

Here's a test of the new new layering extension I picked up. It makes it much easier to do things like overlaying textures like fur or a wolf nose. Also, as requested a new fur color .
