Part 11 2-21-12

The night went on normally from there, well as normal as it could be. The store was rather quiet though the mall itself was booming with holiday shoppers. But no one complained. Shillan volunteered to help Chuck and Nel take care of the store and customers since Nel took the time to conjure her.

Less then an hour before close and the three were simply chatting around the front counter. Chuck was giving Shillan a crash course in the stores register; she was fascinated with the thing. In the short time she was there Shillan fit right in with the two dorks. Even finding a trinket or two she put aside for herself.

After doing a few practice transactions Chuck started the closing checklist while Shillan and Nel sat on the counter chatting.

?So who is this Corey?? Shillan asked.

?Just a friend, well a really sweet guy. We have a lot in common and he comes in here a lot.? Nel explained as her cheeks began to blush.

Shillan giggled. ?Oh you humans are too much! Find someone you think is meant for you and your whole world goes topsy turvy!?

Nel merely smiled a bit and giggled softly.

?That?s pretty accurate of how Beth and I were at first.? Chuck interjected. ?But he better hurry, cause he is already cutting it close??

Nel sighed, her heart started to pick up its beat. ?Someone?s coming! Is that him?? Shillan called out. Suddenly she felt a tug on her pointy ears. Chuck was behind her, when she looked at him he nodded. Shillan didn?t say a word only smirking before hoping off the counter. She followed Chuck around the counter and into the stores backroom.

?H-Hey Corey? Nel greeted.

?Hey Nel!? Corey replied with a friendly smile. Corey was tall and lanky; he had reddish brown hair kept short like a brillow pad.

?I like your Space Core shirt, get that from the Valve store?? Nel complimented.

Corey looked down at his open jacket and laughed. ?Yeah you got it. Thanks I got a bunch of other ones too. Makes me feel bad though, every time I see you its in your work uniform!?

Nel chuckled, ?Its not like I have good fashion sense anyway!?

?Anyway, I just finished Persona 4, You were right it was really good. I wanted to know if you have any other recommendations!?

?Well, I know Chuck told you Rayman, and that?s pretty fun. But you should also look into Solatorobo on DS. Should be cheap on Amazon too!? Nel replied.

?Ok cool I will!? Corey Nodded, they smiled at each other and there was an awkward pause. ?I-I guess I should go, I bet you guys want to close up and get home!? The words stumbled from Corey?s mouth.

Nel wanted to encourage him to stay but couldn?t form the words. Corey turned and started to leave. ?Hey um Nel, Wanna go get something to eat tomorrow? Then play some games at my place?? He asked suddenly.

Nel jumped, she started to stutter an answer. ?S?Sure!? She replied strangely loud.

?Great! Lets meet here tomorrow at 7!?

Nel faked a smile and nodded.

?See ya then!? Corey called out.

Nel stood frozen in place until Corey was out of sight. Then she stumbled her way to the back room. She pushed the door open slowly her face was pale as a sheet. Shillan was cuddling with Vixy, while Chuck counted the money in the store safe.

Shillan looked up and smiled. ?So master how did it go??

Still enjoying this! However, I must say I'm surprised that people working in a place like that haven't wished to be rich yet :P. I mean, that's like the number one thing on most people's list, not having to work anymore. I say that they definitely have some interesting wishes, I wonder how that baby Vulpix will work out, lol. Might we get to see the catgirl transformation? Some woman putting on that necklace by themselves without knowing what it is could be pretty fun to read

Sadly you can't really wish to to be rich. If they wished for say a million dollars, all the money would either be fake or stolen from somewhere. Cause the money has serials and all that. They couldn't even wish for say gold.. Cause it would have to come from somewhere or be created from scratch. And either way they would need a lot and once they had it, the sudden surge of gold could really hurt the gold market and the materials value.

As for the amulet. Chuck's wish specifically said it would only work on his wife. That's not to say she won't show up at some point...

They could just wish for gold that is still sitting in out in nature somewhere undiscovered. And bringing new gold into the economy doesn't really hurt the gold market unless you bring in a LOT of it, otherwise finding new goldmines would be utterly pointless.

Actually, even if you wanted cash, that would be doable without hurting anyone else. Something I had idly thought up awhile back would be: "I wish that all of the lost or torn up paper money in the world that still possesses value would be restored to mint quality and appear next to me."

There wouldn't a guarantee of how much you'll end up with(and the wish's wording might need a little tweaking), but it'll probably be a decent amount.

Yeah this. There's always a way of a doable wish, you just have to think it out correctly. That was what I always wanted to know with the monkey's paw. Was it cursed, or were the wishers just REALLY stupid? I mean, if they had been exceedingly specific, would their wishes have been granted without the problems?

My wish, if I were to wish for cash, had always been "I can open and close my hand and it will have the exact change that I need." That way, even if I'm naked I can have the money, or if I don't want to have to worry about carrying money around with me.

However, you do bring up a good point, in that I'd need to specify where the money came from. If Superman III is correct and there are all these half cents floating around out there, I'd wish for those as well as all the money lost, torn up, destroyed, or otherwise mutilated, would be used so long as it was valid currency. In the even that I use all that up, I'd have a backup part of the wish, making sure that the money was taken from criminals, and then eventually that the money would be good for like three days and then would disappear and everyone but me would forget about it, including electronic registries.

Hmm...I'm not sure this entirely on topic so let me just say I'm looking forward to the next chapter!

Sorry there isn't going to be an update today. But I do want to let you know I am going to have this go a bit longer then originally planned. I have a couple more story arcs I want to do, that said. Beth will appear and there will be several different TF's to look forward too.

Part 12 2-23-12

The door to Nel?s apartment closed softly, Shillan skipping past her master to her bed. She did a floating twirl and her cloths melted into her nightgown as she bounced on her bed. Tapping her pony tail her hair billowed out free from its trapping. She sighed happily, While Nel stood at the door; face pale and frozen in shock.

?Master, didn?t your mother ever tell you that if you make a face for too long it may get stuck that way?? Shillan asked running her hands through her wild hair.

Nel?s eyes jumped as she snapped from her self induced trance. ?Yeah?? She whispered tossing her jacket to the floor. Nel slumped her way to Shillan?s bed and fell to her knees burying her head in the mattress. ?What was a thinking!? Nel moaned into the bed.

?Oh there there master I am sure it will be fine!? Shillan assured. ?Its just a friendly date.?

Nel looked up, Shillan?s soft bed was the only thing holding the girl up right now. ?You don?t understand! I haven?t been on a date in 2 years!?

?Really? I find that hard to believe.?

?Cause I am picky?? Nel replied her eyes darting around the room at her various toys and collectables. Then she buried her face in the mattress again. ?And a dork?? She continued her voice muffled by blankets.

Shillan threw herself onto her pillows and kicked up her legs onto Nel?s back. ?Just relax master, a young man you like asked to treat you to a night out! Look at it for what it is, a man has an interest in you. If he truly cares he will look past any of your imperfections!? She explained wisely.

Nel looked up again feeling a big of renewed energy from Shillan?s words.

?Not to mention.? Shillan continued. ?Your wish! You have the power to shape tomorrow night into one you can both remember! To bed destiny in your favor!? She cheered.

The empowered feeling became stronger as Nel rose to her feet and looked at her C cup breasts. And for the first time she saw them with confidence and strength. ?Your right Shillan! Thanks to you, I can really make tomorrow and everyday a special one!? Nel roared triumphantly.

Shillan rolled her eyes before crawling under her covered. ?I am happy you found your resolve master?? She yawned ?But how many times must I tell you, you don?t need to yell!?

Nel grinned and turned for her room. At that moment she felt like no one could stop her.

Sorry for the delay on the updates, I have been spending more time drawing them writing I am sure you would all agree a Wish Cup Comic would be better then a story. In time maybe.

Anyway I'll try to update tonight after work!
