Asking only yourself 'what might the readers want' may be a bad way to go about making a comic, but when the readers all tell you what they want, thats another issue entirely

Like you say though, this sounds like a comic you are doing for yourself and allow other people to have it for a small cost. Technically, your 100% of the target audience if that is the case. But I do think another version could be a good business decision, if you have the time for it.

This right here is what I was trying to get across. Its good business to please your customer base, so that you CAN make comics just for yourself.

You're right, and I might have overstated it before - I'm definitely listening to comments and am trying to incorporate of what readers might like to see. I've already made a lot of script changes based on the feedback so far, so I do think I'm doing my best to try to please customers.

However I do feel I need to be personally psyched about a comic for it to be good. I'm not into cow transformations, so I'd probably make a lousy cow transformation comic.

Anyway, if the remaining chapters sell well I'll be able to do an AR version - which I really think could be amazing!

The problem with what you're saying is that it's not good business for him to make these comics period. It's about personal enjoyment, and I appreciate his sharing what he does.

How would you feel about doing either a pre-order or a kickstarter-type thing for the AR/AP version? Basically, I'd love to support the AR/AP version getting made, but I have (a) no interest in buying the current versions of ch4/5, nor do I have (b) the money to facilitate buying both editions, as what I buy is already a splurge for me to get & support something I really enjoy. I figure that doing a kickstarter/presale type thing would allow you to have much of the money assured before the comic is released, solving the issue of wanting to know you'll make enough money for a comic to be worth making even better is that if you decide it's not enough, people just wouldnt be charged rather than you having to refund all the money

if there's a reason the idea isnt as feasible as it seems, then I apologize, but when I thought of it tonight, I immediately rushed to come post it

Re: Yard Work (Part Three complete 8/1/13)

Dreamtales, I have really enjoyed the whole series thus far and an looking forward to the next part, but I will say and agree with others that I am a die-hard AR/AP fan and not a fan of the other genre's (GTS, etc). I would love to see the sister continue to age into a sexy middle-aged MILF while the mother regressed into teen or tween-dom in a mother-daughter role reversal. The reverse course with the brother and his next door neighbor where she gets younger and he gets older. Perhaps he even gets old enough where he and his sister get together and become the parents of the mother and the neighbor! Anyway, just some thoughts. Keep up the great work!

Thanks, really appreciate the thoughts and suggestions. I'll definitely consider a pre-order for the AR version, when (and if) it's ready to start.
