Re: The "Official" TG Caption Thread
Good one, but the lack of punctuation makes it hard to read.

Re: The "Official" TG Caption Thread
Well, if people read them, I'll continue.
Here's my 2nd entry for the December contest at the Haven. Imagine the rapture, a traditional apocalypse. You die, you're judged, you're either resurrected or burn in hell, right? But what if it isn't like this? Wouldn't you want a trusted friend to explain the situation and make you aware of your options? Read on to find out what this friend might say... Peace, Lurker.

Re: The "Official" TG Caption Thread
And the 1st entry for that month, with a smacking of image manipulation
I've been waiting for quite some time to do a "War of the Worlds" cap series and finally the opportunity has presented itself. The 1st panel serves as an introduction and consists entirely of text taken from "The Eve of the War" from Jeff Wayne's 1978 musical adaptation, which I highly recommend! (I find the original novel to be a bit dry). The next three panels are the actual story. If you are interested in the technical details: the model is Kathy Lee from the Actiongirls set "Army Babe"; the tripods are pictures of a modified Pegasus Hobbies 1:144 kit; the soldier is some Australian guy with an M203 grenade launcher attached to his assault rifle; the beams, glow, composition, etc. were done in Paint.net; and the deranged babbling in panels 2-4 are by yours truly. Peace, Lurker.

Re: The "Official" TG Caption Thread
I've been working for a few months now on making captions for TF-Media, and I thought I'd share some here.
I came up with a bit of a RP idea. It started as a restaurant and quickly became a full-fledged hotel/spa resort. 'Ambrosia Resort' is the name, and the experience is always life-changing, whether it's for a night or the rest of your life.

Re: The "Official" TG Caption Thread
Would like it more if it did not have racial epithets in it.

Re: The "Official" TG Caption Thread
I believe the full quote was:
It may or may not be considered to carry pejorative connotations by those so described, and use of the word "Gipsy" in English is so pervasive (and is a legal term under English law) that many Romani organizations use it in their own organizational names. Quote:
Peace, Lurker.

Re: The "Official" TG Caption Thread
Similar can be said about other racial epithets.
