I really like EGS, if only for the randomness that Dan presents in his fillers and things, such as the Velocitoaster. I can deal with more serious storylines, too since the genre tends to lend itself to drama more often to comedy anyway. Sure, you can have a funny comic about superpowers and aliens and mad scientists (and Tedd) with rayguns but to be honest without some kind of seriousness the jokes will get old quick.

I don't think its so much that they can't beat Xaos in The Wotch. It's more that he only ever shows up for about five seconds and then disappears again.
