No hassle. (alternately get a free flashplayer which can be found through google when searching for swf). Btw: Fun game. Despite having the annoyances of a platformgame which they all have it is pretty wellmade, some challenges, but nothing really too hard. The tf's are fun to watch, match with the settings and overall amusing. Only comment is that maybe some sound would be cool too, (assuming it didnt have that). And offcourse more levels. Oh and the extra thing after beating all lvls of a stage (or stages of a lvl)...very good idea. Muchly appreciated ![]() Overall: good job, keep it up ![]() |

Or, you can just drag and drop the .swf file into the browser or File->Open the file in the browser. It's totally up to you. Quote:
I'm guessing you want the full transformation? I posted earlier that I've fiddled around with the concept before. I don't have a hard time sticking ears or a tail onto a sprite. I have a hard time drawing a sprite from scratch. I looked around for a long time for sprites of animals and they just don't exist. I found one for a cat, but it was too small and I couldn't even resize it to look correct. I abandoned the idea shortly afterwards. Had I even been able to make the sprite, making the transformation in Flash would be even more daunting. It's easy to do what I'm doing now. Just erasing one part at a time, really (though the real process work behind the scenes is a little more complicated). I'm not a furry fan, so apologies if it looks furry. That wasn't my intention. I was going for a balance between kemonomimi and kemono. Quote:
That extra thing was meant to be a preview of what's to come. I just didn't (and still don't) have an idea for the pokemon stage. I think I wrote earlier that I want to do pokebattles but I don't know how. Yet. Somehow I got on a stint with translating Japanese stuff for anon on 4chan. I'll get back to work on this thing now. I have a free weekend ahead of me thanks to midterms being all this week, so I might actually get something done. |

Re: TF Flash Game
Great game monomonkey! XD, I had quite a bit of fun playing it. The 3rd level of the neighborhood is a little buggy though, kept restarting from the beginning when I touched one of those mousetraps. Other than that, everything ran pretty smoothly. The sprites are real nice too! Keep up the great work!

That flash of white was intended to cover up the transition between where you were when you got hit and the original position. In other news I've begun work on the Jungle stage. Since I have literally no creativity whatsoever it will be similar to what was suggested. I've done Jungle-1 so far. I'm actually satisfied with the result. It's challenging and fun. I don't think I'll have a problem with the croc idea or the tiger idea. I don't like the way the snake sprite turned out and I have the feeling the vine mechanics will be harder than I can handle so for now I'm going to leave that one out. I have work tomorrow but as I said, I have all weekend ahead of me. Best case scenario is the three Jungle animals--Monkey, Crocodile, and Tiger--will be done by tomorrow night. Re: TF Flash Game
Well I tried your 4th Ed...and I must say it's certainly a lot smoother now.
I did notice in the woods level 1 that the crop and forest signs had you auto climb on them when you went near. I thought it was a fluke but 10/10 it would do it. Other than that I didn't see or have any problems with it. |

Re: TF Flash Game
Ack. I know why. Thanks for pointing that out.
Revision 5 will have a lot of other tweaks aside from just the first testing of the Jungle stage. Edit: and fixed. Gonna post a little list of updates so I don't forget to update the first post with them later. Also so you can see I'm not slacking off. Ver. 0.4: Jungle stage added! Minor tweak to the jumping mechanics. Stop continuation of "dodge" games upon failure to complete stage. Fixed being behind hay in Farm-2. Added walls to prevent "hop-up" on Woods-1 signs. I'll be working on it here after I finish dinner. Just got home from work. I'll PM you my AIM. I had only done the first three stages and decided to get motivation, ideas, and code help, I'd post it here. Needless to say, it worked. |
