I always find it amusing that someone who is pro-gun claims to be pro-life.

Ironhorse, I think almost no one is "pro-abortion." People are pro-choice because the choice to have a child is between a woman, her doctor, and her "God" or other spiritual influence. And, if possible, the father and other people in her life, if she so wishes. I think almost all pro-choice people would rather avoid an unwanted child, but with conservatives pushing failed abstinence-only education and trying to restrict access to birth control, Cons are largely to blame for abortions. IMHO.

So called, "pro-life" often seem to be more interested in controlling women than really caring for kids. Once they're born they Cons think they should be on their own.

If you disagree with abortion, don't have one, but if you're dependent on lying about the specific practices of one organisation that provides abortion services to convince people to support your cause, your position isn't holding water. Even if all that little turd's videos had uncovered illegal practices by Planned Parenthood, they wouldn't implicate abortion as unethical. They'd merely demonstrate Planned Parenthood engages in illegal activity.

I like Neal Boortz's take on abortion (paraphrasing greatly here): the only people who have the qualifications to dictate how abortion should be and not be are the people who have the potential of getting one (read: women). If a guy can get knocked up or at least be a surrogate mother himself, then he's got qualifications to have an opinion on abortion. Since there aren't any males in the human race that can do either, they need to shut the fuck up and let the women be the ones making the laws and regulations (less or more) on what they can and can't do with their bodies during pregnancies.

By the same token, I also feel that hoplophobic people lacking any worth-while knowledge and/or experience with guns shouldn't be having any strong opinions or making any laws on gun-control.

Short answer: no.

Long answer:

I meant 'experience' as in the legal ownership or legal using of guns (hunting, plinking at the range, self-defense/home-defense) and understanding at least basic gun-safety (Diane Feinstein lacks the latter concept especially when she was holding an AK during a speech about 'assault weapons' and having her finger on the trigger, not seeming to care where she pointed the thing). Now, having a gun pointed at you (I'm assuming you meant in a threatening way like being mugged, etc) at one point can prompt two reactions: FEAR of guns (which is like getting in a car wreck from a drunk-driver and thus fearing/blaming all automobiles) or deciding to get one for protection (through legal means, of course). If your reaction was the latter, and you carry-conceal or open-carry responsibly (provided you're licensed to carry) then you have qualifications (in my opinion) for having a say in gun-control. If your reaction was the former, it would be wise to leave that debate to the people NOT harboring irrational fears of an inanimate object.
