It's the visual that accompanies a word that makes the word have that much more impact.

The flow of plot seems a bit nonsensical though, don't you think?

Once I see that next page I will be satisfied with translation. Those were the major good bits to me.

Anyway, until page 5 I don't think that the plot is nonsensical, it's just like the stereotyped story about the scientist who creates a highly unlikely stuff which can make what the reader wants to see (depending on the fetish the comic revolves around). What I find nonsensical is Chizuru: how much stupid should be a girl to think that she will get taller if she jumps the whole day?

Yeah, she seems to be a bit on the ditzy side, her talking of herself in the third person would speak for that, I, for one, think that adds to het cuteness.
