The pace tends to flip cliffhangers in one episode then spin off into something crazy and unexpected just as the protagonists make up lost ground. Kinda shoots and ladders.

So far its had berserker monster, puppet mind control, brainwashed and crazy...I find funny that that evil side shows much less skin.

Agreed, anime has taught me that when a female turns evil her outfit is sexier and more revealing not the other way around.

although they still have the other odd scenes where it was building up to her brainwashing: she was being groped by her mother & 'soul sister' while her 'clothes' were pulsing into her thighs, in close up shots,...... seems they really wanted to beat you over the head with symbolism for mind rape

Looks good hope there is some corruption at the end. The movie was such a tease. There is some real corruption in one of the original draft scripts out on the web...where she actual becomes a feral beast and completely gives in to the Baron/Hunter/Darkness in that version. Her whole progression and corruption there is much darker than the film.
