How about one time she's fighting, her opponent works out/knows the emerald is enhancing Subi's power so they shatter it.
Unfortunately for them, the shards go straight into Subi and make her even more powerful than before. |

TGJunkie, to answer your question, the world is probably be in a futuristic world. I like originality, so it is not going to take place in a place that we know. I am not going into any government. They will not have to do with the story. (Plus I cannot stand the government)
The organization she is against is going to be a bit of a mystery. Remember I am going to have a story here, so I cannot ruin everything right? All Subi knows is that she is getting powers and people are appearing to capture her. I have not thought of what kind of future it will be. Post modern, cyberpunk, post-apoalyptic? I am going to sketch down some visuals of buildings and landscape. |

I understand what you mean by 'not pulling an Akira'. ;P
Nice design there as well Subi. I almost want to do a fanart already. xD; |

I am starting to think in a little different way with this.
I am not too sure on making it a full length comic, but to cut it down to one a few panels. Then the rest will be story. It will still be going with the story, but it will be a novel/comic. I am afraid that if I take this too seriously and put too much time into everything, I will get bored with it. |

You should absolutely not do something if you aren't going to enjoy it. Many of us have posted suggestions because you asked for them, but don't feel like you have to live up to our expectations or anything. We'll be happy with whatever you want to draw. There's nothing worse than when an artist gets burnt out from drawing things they don't care about.

Yeah, you have to be doing work because you want to and because you're enjoying it - not out of some twisted sense of commitment.

True, do whatever you feel like. Make it fun, not advanced.

What I was thinking was writing a story. Then adding in pictures and small comic stips at sequences and important parts. Like new characters.
Then again, I might just make artwork that includes Subi using her powers on herself and/or others. (kinda like CattyN ^_^) |
