This is probably a weird comparison but you know in Renaissance Italy artists were just another type of craftsmen? They weren't considered visionary or anything like that. Much of their work was religious not because they were, but because the church was the ones with the big bucks shelling out the money.

Kind of puts things in perspective.

Probably the stories in the Bible and in the mythologies were also more
creatively inspiring.

If its a choice between

or "Girl Growing Bigger"

probably most creatives would choose the Bible commission,if both
commissions paid equal money.

The last 2 months Updates are missing. The mainsite is at OCTOBER 30, 2009, Google cache from 14.01.10 are at November 30, 2009.


Edit: Google cache from 12.01.10 still have the last update but noting is working
