This is very interesting indeed, I liked that one animation you did. It'd be awesome to see more but I need that takes tedious work, and I know how bad that can kill your computer from personal experience haha.

You're probably the first 3d artist I've seen that doesn't make the process of final result look strange and unproportioned, I especially like the digitigrade legs. I personally like them better than bipedal.

D'oh! I forgot to photoshop that out. The top is actually a stand-alone mini-skirt. That means the model wasn't designed to fit over pants, and that distortion is the result of me forcing it to do so.

I'm still working on a second one. My last computer dying sucked the wind out my sails on that project. I also decided I should get some more practice in for the techniques I want to use. For example, I think my new sig image shows I'm finally getting the hang of lighting; except for cropping and adding text that is a straight-up render.

I'm going to take a shot in the dark and guess you don't like werewolves who look like this. If it's not that I bet it's orgasmic red-heads.

I also prefer digitigrade legs, which is why I sprang for the creature creator set. The legs area a separate model so that means you can't show the joints morphing from plantigrade to digitigrade so I have to use workarounds for that. Otherwise than that limitation that set

Yeah I saw that set in the add ons, there were quick a few samplers and sets i saw in the store that sparked my interests, as I'm trying to get back into the artistic world.

As for the wolfman, I don't really mind that sort of look, kinda... but I do prefer a more close relation to the actual canine that a mix between a monkey and chewybacca.

The one thing you should try to avoid is falling into the cookie-cutter trap. Try to mix it up a bit when coming up with new ideas. For example, while he started off as a pretty good 3d artist on deviantart and hereomorph, Nightmarehero's stuff has become stale and unimaginative. Not because of lack of skill, but because he churns out pretty much the same image over and over, and worst of all, he completely ignores advice or critique. It's good that you decided to start showcasing your work from the very begging so you can learn for your mistakes and reap the benefit of other people's experience through feedback and suggestions.

I cut myself off, but I was going to say that I found the creature creator gave me the best tools to make werewolves the way I want them to look. The black and red fur I've used is from RawArt's Dogworld (I believe he still has a 15% discount code up in the Daz forums); the brown fur is my own modification.

On the bright side, his stale repetitiveness made me think "I can do better than that!", and here we are .

While I am of the opinion that there is no such thing as too many werewolves, I do plan to eventually do some big cats. One day. In the future. With the werewolves there probably always be some strong similarities just from the fact that the models I use have limits as to what they can do. Within those limits though I expect I'll always at least the vary the characters. Amy and Steph have different builds and different body language, even when they turn into black werewolves with the same fur texture (at least, they're supposed to...).

On a related note, I'm mildly frustrated at how lingerie and glamour wear crowd out the normal casual and business attire in the available clothes. Which I suppose is a strange complaint from someone who does erotica renders.

I was having my hopes up when I saw that Renamon figurine in that one still on the previous page. ^^

I'm sure there will be someone that will create a "sex appeal" type clothing set in the future. Why wouldn't there?

Nice to see someone noticed the Easter egg . I threw it in because I would totally do a Rika to Renamon sequence if I could figure out how to do it right...

No, no, no, I want "non-sex appeal" clothing . As an example "sexy nurse" outfits seem much easier to find than just plain old "nurse", and it's the normal version I want. Since I look for clothes with undressing morphs in particular I really shouldn't expect otherwise.

I suppose I should get off my butt and put up a link to one of my 3D stuff wishlists.

PS feel free to PM me if you have any technical questions/advice.

Re: Messing Around in 3D

Dammit, someone spoiled a perfectly relaxing evening last night by giving me an idea I couldn't shake. It's so annoying when that happens.
