First thing is first

1: Do not make ANY excuses trust me if you make excuses youll never learn how to draw what you want to draw.

2: About the eyes to make them emotion less or robotlike draw a regular eye and do NOT put a pupil or shine inside it can be a solid color or a gradient .[ see attachment.

3:No matter what the drawing is you have to know the basics [im still learning the basics]
like anotamy /shading and lighting / wireframe or stick figure /proportions
no matter how usesless you think learning the basics is ,your wrong [Mwahahaha]

4: before even starting a drawing you have to think about what it is your going to draw [somtimes i draw on the fly wich is fun to] but basicly it means that you should know what the charecter is what its feeling how its standing is it dynamic or not ect ect

5: after thinking about the charecter you start drawing the stick figure you can draw about 20 stick figures before seeing one that you like ,a stick figure is just a stick figure dont be afraid to erase it .

after your done with the stick figure [preferably with a light blue pencil] you sketch the charecter around it once you like it you eaither INK it with all the details or just Pencil it in with a regular dark pencil .


6:scaning the image you need the correct settings if its a pencil sketch you can set the settings to grayscale if if its ink only you can use Black n white setting . if like me you use blue pencil and ink then you scan normally and remove the blue using photoshop or similar programs .


7 as for coloring i cant help you much with that

PS: one last peice of advice . Draw what you hate [or dont know how to] draw the most thats the only way youll get better in them . i used to have a problem with hair i could never get it right so i kept drawing hair till i had nightmares about it im not perfect but its hell of alot better than before

That shade of pink always makes me think of Kirby. Always. Kirby. Scary.

If I can say something your art is good (Better then mine =/ I usally make the heads to big). Love the work. Keep it up.
