Level 52 Holy Pally, let me back up Keile.

After this last patch, when we crit a healing spell (28% of the time, 33% with a Moonkin in the party) we get 60% of our mana back. Our mana bar is much smaller than a Priests so we can use the best Mana potion avalable to us and it gives us the whole thing back. Most groups on Burning Blade would rather have a Resto Shaman, Holy Pally or a Resto Druid in that order. Very few people acutally look for a priest because there all Shadow speced on our server.

A Prot Pally at his level, fully speced for Def and below 30% of his health would litterly stop takeing damage from melee because his def is so high.

A side note: Theres a trick with Blessing of Freedom. Put it on as your charging the hunter, when the freezing trap goes off you won't get stuck in it because your freedom is already on. When fighting hunters, assume the trap is somewhere close.

Once i hit 35% of my hp, my Ardent Defender kicks in. Right now i have 9.7k armor with my Devotion aura (about 8.6k without) and that is ROUGHLY a 65% damage reduction (melee only of course there). Now when Ardent Defender kicks in, i take another 35% less ontop of that, but this works for ALL damage, melee and magical alike.

And Zin, BoF doesnt stop the Freeze Trap only the FROST trap. Freeze is the one that completely encases you in ice, i have had it used on me while i had BoF on. In fact, i was watching it swirling around me while i was in the ice...looked kinda cool like that actually....

Anyway, Zin, what server/side are you?

Shadowmoon horde here.

Thats a really powerfull one unlike the heroism.
What if could stack?
OH! And it can, but just twice, you get the growth buff.
Logg out, logg in talk to him to he cast the pretty rare grow buff again.
And it stacks now, on topp of the first one. You must use it you get verry big that way.. and then stack it with every thing elseyou can make up.
I can't try myself quit wow a wile ago.

i think you are over looking it. Even when i saw paladin, i knew they'd be more defensive than offensive. Protect the people?

even in WCIII they weren't high damage output in anyway. they could rez, heal, and divine sheild. they had NO direct offensive moves. The WoW class follows the hero from WCIII pretty well.

so to assume anything else is your own delusions imo.

A purely defensive class would have been interesting, I'll admit. But in all honestly the only defensive spec you could take was prot and that was only useful versus enemies that used melee heavily.

And again, the point here is that WoW's (and WC3's) paladin was not the paladin class I had intended to play. The opeing descriptions do little to outline the class's role (or at least they didn't when I started) and I was under the impression I could do whatever the hell I wanted to with a class regardless. No support classes, remember? Only with time, experimentation, and lots of gold did I come to understand that WoW was turning into one big grind-fest and I had picked a class I didn't like. That's all I'm trying to say, and its not like it matters anymore anyway. I don't intend to go back any time soon.

Transporter Malfunction!

Managed to stack a couple malfunctions today

One to turn my d0rf into a female dranei (after a brief stint as a gnome), another which made her bigger.

Went to Ironforge, found some shammies to cast Heroism on me then popped some grow pots.

And I fraps'd it all, enjoy
