Review of She Wolf XI: The Roommate HD

Picked up this little gem today, and just wanted to enlighten all those who may be on the fence about it: Don't be; She Wolf XI: The Roommate is a pure delight.

Notable Points

+Actress(s): Once more, the actresses are top-notch (Rae and Missa). For her first transformation video, Rae did a splendid job portraying the subtle fear and confusion that one expects would accompany such a change. Additionally, Rae did a similarly great job conveying the pain associated with a transformation of that magnitude. Lastly, though she's not seen much during the majority of the clip, Missa is spectacular when she is onscreen. Kudos to both actresses. [10/10]

+Sound Effects: Rae's howling as the change overtakes her is spot on, and really makes the transformation 10x better. Great stuff. Not much in the way of growth sound effects, however, which one would expect if they were transforming into a considerably larger creature. I have to take off a point or two for that, but in the grand scheme of things, this isn't even close to a reason for not purchasing this clip. [8/10]

+Atmosphere: Lights flickering out, a soft background track, Rae's sweating body, the dampness of her panties, suggesting a certain, perhaps primal thrill with the change, which only builds as the change progresses, the crimson glow in Rae's eyes, the arcane symbols pulsing out from said eyes; all of it works together to create an ambiance that both drives up the tension, but doesn't overshadow Rae's stellar performance. [10/10]

+Story: Decent enough premise. I mean, it's TF pron, so whatever. [10/10]

+Process: Rae's transformation showcases considerable process (claws erupt from her fingernails, she gets a little furrier, she starts howling midway through, her nose upturns and darkens, her spine visibly elongates, ect). Some process occurs off-screen, however, with my particular favorite body part (her feet) getting no love in this clip. Her feet become hairy and claws burst forth, but we don't actually see that. Some people may not mind this, but, personally, I do (and those who share my foot fetish may as well). Also, I feel as though the formation of Rae's tail is simply glossed over. We see, near the very end, the start of a tail pushing against the remains of her clothing, but the shot ends quickly, and we're left with a final scene where both actresses have fully grown tails. Kind of a miss, in my opinion. Overall, however, there's just enough process here to justify a $15 price tag. [7/10]

Total Score: 9/10

Verdict: If you haven't picked up She Wolf XI: The Roommate, and aren't quite sure if you should, I highly recommend that you do. Even though some process is overlooked in the clip, Missa has nonetheless created a story here that is believable (or rather, believable enough given the supernatural subject matter), and aesthetically pleasing. And I would be remiss if I didn't tell you that Rae's acting all by itself is worth the $15 price of admission. It isn't as good as some of her other She Wolf videos, but even Missa's less spectacular clips stand head and shoulders above her competition over at Clips4Sale.

Well done, Missa. Looking forward to your next entry in the She Wolf series.
