When Hoshi is threatened and with the championship on the line, what can the smallest of the league’s giantesses do?

Bitter rivalries over diminishing fossil fuels brought tensions to a head between alliances broadly consisting of the European and North American nations. The Americans were the first to flex their itchy trigger finger, or “pre-emptive strike” as they called it. It took seven years of intense fighting but again they ended it with a state-of-the-art nuclear option. A blitz of intercontinental ballistic missiles crossed the Atlantic and peppered Europe. The result: a barren wasteland? Actually something much neater: every European city reduced to a model-like few feet across. Just like that the once formidable enemy immediately cowered and unconditionally surrendered. The solution for their cities? Sell slices of them to the bitter widows and curious teenagers back home, of course.

This issue is a throwback to the original comics that got Giantess Fan started (such as "When Dreams Come True") and pays homage to some (obvious) influences. Fans of long growth sequences should enjoy this issue.

At the height of the Swinging Sixties a pandemic swept the globe over the course of a year claimed the height of half of the world’s population. Seemingly linked along genetic lines to affect entire families but otherwise random, 1.5 billion people found themselves facing the rest of their lives at just six inches tall. In Britain, welfare spending on the underclass spiralled to unsustainable levels with social unrest peaking when Mary Porter, a young librarian, was imprisoned for three years for the manslaughter of a man she had accidentally stepped on in the street. Twenty years ago Mary’s Law was passed, decriminalising all acts against the underclass and establishing a process to register the smaller humans as property to alleviate the burden on the state. In the present day, the first humans bred entirely in captivity are reaching adulthood and entering the market.
