Re: Kaiba

I just hope they'll get all of the episodes up and subbed so we can watch them all.

Re: Kaiba

All six dubbed Episodes still exist on Veoh, watch them all before The Man shuts 'em down.

Anyway, according to Wikipedia the woman who inflates and explodes is named Paam, and as far as I can tell ("Abstract" is one hell of an understatement when it comes to this show) she survived by copying her memories into the Protagonist's empty body (The Protagonist is jacked into the Hippo-looking stuffed animal body at the time) before engaging in freaky-deaky, not to mention fatal, sex-acts with "herself".

Also, the show is rather melancholy and at times downright depressing, quite a lot of death and tragedy that you wouldn't expect from a show with such a cute, cartoony style.

(www.veoh.com, Search "Kaiba", slog through Yu-Gi-Oh content, hurry before they're gone)

Re: Kaiba

It also has some TG -- 'mind-swap', yes, but the main character has spent most of the show so far swapped into a female body. The 6th episode in particular it focuses on it and the mental impact of being in a body of the 'wrong' gender a lot better than many TG shows I've seen.

And I suppose it has some much stranger TFs, if you count people having their minds placed in what look like stuffed animals, patchwork zombie-dogs, weird propeller-things...

Also, the 7th episode is out, subbed.

Re: Kaiba

It's been a long time to revisit this topic but I believe I have both the names of the two woman in the 2008 anime Kaiba: Parm: https://kaiba.fandom.com/wiki/Parm and Lum: https://kaiba.fandom.com/wiki/Lum It's been too long since anyone replied a message here. By the way, RetroCrush Streaming brought back this 'interesting' clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KlsC4Yh_5VY

Yeah, I'm just surprised that this scene is rarely noted or mentioned. Not to mention the whole series having an English dub at all. I just hope that the anime, and Parm of course would be mentioned for that scene from obscurity since 12 years.

I should mention that Parm only lasted for two episodes, the first and the second. I wish there was more to her.
