New Shrinking Model

Hey all,
I am a model who has just gotten into the exciting world of shrinking/ growing clips! I just made two short clips with Xil studio, and I had soooo much fun that I cant wait to do some more.... i have a few ideas for the next shoot (hopefully in may!) but if there are more ideas out there let me know!

Re: New Shrinking Model

I posted an Idea on a new thread a while back, it's very complex and probably a long shot, but I thought I'd share it.

Here's the Link

Yeah, as I said, it was a long shot, I had later figured out that the entire thing could be done with one model but would require some really good green screen and morphing tricks. the other challenge would be creating the oversized articles of clothing, which is difficult even for some of the best SW video creators. Overall I was hoping to do a really good sequence of the model shrinking into their chair and eventually having to climb up something, all while losing thier slowly enlarging clothes in the process, sort of add something more than just someone just standing there and just being reduced in size once or twice with no real before or after. The truth is, I personally would love to be apart of creating SW videos, unfortunatley I live in the most un-interesting corner of Southern California without the resources or a single SW fan for miles to make it possible.

Re: New Shrinking Model

well, luckily there is the internet to at least you can connect from your uninteresting corner!
you are right about the do- ability! and i would love to do it! but finding the people to put it together is tricky...... I really love the idea of climbing around on the huge furniture and crawling right out of my clothes, even tunneling through a sleeve and wrapping myself in a huge cuff! i could make a huge sleeve to scale... i make clothes all the time!

Hey, wow that's awesome that you are posting here! So often I can't help but feel like some of the models (not just xil's) are kinda wierded out by us!

Edit: Have you thought about shrinking out of what would be very tight clothes, like spandex or some sort of outfit a jogger would wear? Would make a great scenario where you ran into something on a jog, then came home smaller, only to continue to shrink.

Re: New Shrinking Model

Off the top of my head, you could try simulating a quick shrink by yelping and ducking out of frame. You could also try getting a set of doll clothes and normal clothes that are identical, to make it seem like you're wearing doll clothes when you're shrunk.
