Oh I hope not. I'm running Avast. Not seeing any messages. But I have noticing some full system slow downs a lot lately. Maybe I should a different AV?

Maybe the site is sitting on one of those Made in China
servers that mines for bitcoins?

I have Norton Internet Security for the last several years and it seems to have done quite well. I've seen JS.Coinminer dozens of times elsewhere and Norton blocked those swiftly.
If the same happened here I would've raised the alarm as well.

I typically use Mozilla Firefox as a browser, but can access MS Edge, the last edition of IExplorer, and Google Chrome. Without signing on, the latter two browsers didn't create JS.Coinminer pop-ups.

Though, I have noticed the last several weeks this Forum is no longer completely private..
Maybe that's just me not paying attention?

Question Re: Is the process infected?

Sorry to post back-to-back.
It was mentioned in another non-content thread a different potential Forum issue might be relevant. A phantom thread page, I think?

Is there anything going on here fitting a pattern someone has been seeing as well, besides me?
