Sheena story. Classic

That was the first TG story that I ever read. And you always remember your first.

Since this seems to have a different running, I'm voting for Touching the Moon by Morpheus. If I need to take back my vote from TG comics to do it, then I'm happy to. This story is amazing.

Oh, on that note I would like to nominate Seer Coltz. One of the few I trust with the porn that has been nominated.

Quick question: do the stories need to have a plot?

If so, I'd like to vote for the Succubus series by Reif too.

If not, then I'd also like to put in Kalin by Majorkerina too, though it's more of a cute, sensual process story than sexy. I also liked anything from Tuatha (especially Cheer).

Re: Favorite TG Story of All Time? (Round 1)

So, I was linked here and squeed at the idea of having my favorite TG stories illustrated!

At first I contemplated "For A Girl", since it's one of the all-time TG classics. But then I realized while it is a wonderful story, the strength comes from the narration and inner musings of the protagonist. Translating it into a visual medium won't really add much, I feel. Now a TG superhero story made into a comic... Yeah, I'm squeeing just at the thought of it

So my vote goes to... Of Heroes And Villains!

Which, as a sidenote, has been voted for by 2 people yet has only 1 vote in the main post...?

Re: Favorite TG Story of All Time? (Round 1)

That is actually a good point.

Lots of these stories are great stories, but translating them over to comic form might not be practical. The current lead seems to be Touching the Moon, which is great BTW, but Touching the Moon is a really LONG story.

Think about how long the comic version of that would have to be? I realize commissions are not cheap anyway, but that seems pretty extremely expensive.

Maybe we should redefine the scope of the contest to shorter stories, more easily turned into comic books?

Or maybe the end result could be providing illustrations for the stories, instead of full comic format. Art of key scenes and characters, the transformations, and so on put into a PDF with the text of the story. That might be a lot cheaper, and the best of both worlds. For the price of one comic you could probably illustrate 2-3 stories in this way.

Just some food for thought.

I would go with Haunted Blue Jeans by Jessica Rabbit

I like the pacing and it was the first fighting against yourself TG story I read. Loved it for that.

Anything by Morpheus is great to. He is one of the authors I read just to read. He makes great universes and picks good universes to play in.

Re: Favorite TG Story of All Time? (Round 1)

I assume that even if a story is quite long, the commission would be limited by money spent, and thus the story would be shrunk down quite a bit, just like, say, a 700 page book can become a two-hour movie. I definitely think this can be done with Morpheus' stories.

Yes, but lets be honest. When that happen, how often are fans of the book happy with the resulting movie?

Also keep in mind how much descriptive detail many of these stories have. Entire paragraphs are devoted to how someone looks, especially during transformation sequences. Cut out all that writing since we will be actually seeing it and we suddenly have a much shorter story.
